Only reason i had got this sonic game is for my little brother so he can have a game to play and so it accomplished in that but if it was 4 me it would have been on my shelve or sold to gamestop 4 $2 but if you are a sonic fan (you will be disappointed) but get it just to have it P.S this games LOADING it takes to much time like 10 min per load and it takes like 3loads per mission because when you go to someone to do a mission then it loads 10min,AND comes back to that person to let them say ONE SENTENCE OF NO IMPORTANCE TO THE MISSION OR GAME then loads again 4 10min. What can i say if u like loading screens then you will love this game because it is full of them this game is not about sonic its about the loading time/screens

I enjoy sonic games, but I'll admit that I'm a bit dissapointed in this game. Now I played this game all the way through, and this game wasn't bad, and it was fun, but it could have been made alot better. I enjoyed the stages. The stages were very creative, and in some cases were quite challenging. I also enjoying using Silver's abilities. With the exception of his speed, Silver is a great character as far as gameplay goes. The actual bosses are very cool(NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FIGHT). It's also good that Sonic has a variety of power-ups he can attain. The music and soundtrack is also of great quality, and I would even put some of the soundtrack on my ipod. Now....for the not so good stuff. The graphics in a sense are nice because you're using a PS3 or an XBOX360, but it's sad to know when certain things fall in the water& dont make a splash. The graphics could use some improvement. Also, certain parts of the story are messed up, like in the final scene, there's a kiss scene between an unconcious hedgehog and a human, and the love parts in this story are wierd and not enjoyable. Also, they really make Shadow a dissapointment. Shadow is my favorite character in the Sonic series, but in this game, the only thing cool about him is him. His gameplay is dissapointing. His skating looks horrible, and alot of his moves are horrible. They even take away his spin dash. Also, Sonic isn't as fast as he normally is, which is very dissapointing considering that Sonic's speed is kind of what made Sonic big. I could go on and on, but that pretty much sums it up. It's fun to a point, but it is a dissapointment. Now I would recommend this game to a friend depending on his or her gaming taste, but if you expect alot from a game, then I would not recommend this.

This game is dissapointing to all sonic fans. The graphics are decent but thats the only good thing about this game. The storyline is non existant and the loading screens take forever. 2 player mode was kind of fun but it had absolutely no story and it had no ending (Yes, no ending, just restarted). The directions are vauge which makes some parts of the game impossible. Do not spend $20 on this game. If you happen to see it lying in the middle of the street and you dont mind bending over to pick it up, then maybe I'd suggest playing it.

I was a huge fan of Sonic in the Genesis days, but any 3D version has been a dissapointment, and this game is no different. The camera has been the biggest issue and the trend continues for this one. Speed is Sonic's gig and they just haven't figured out a way to mesh that with a 3D world, but they are getting closer. There were parts that showed promise, but it still doesn't make it a good game. Playable for only the most hardcore Sonic fans.

i got this cuz im not much of a gamer and i thought it would just be something to do for 45 mins or so but wow this game is badddd. even the graphics arent that great. its fun for the first day but i think most of that is the fact you got something new and not the game itself. the loading upon loading is very annoying. i cant even begin to start on small glitches that will ruin the game play, like just running and all of a sudden you slow down for no reason and things go into slowmode and then pop out of it in 5 seconds. i wouldnt even say this game is for little kids its just an incomplete game that they rushed to get on the market. and going around talking to people is a zelda sort of thing not something you put into a sonic game. sonic games have a start a finish and how fast and how many rings can you get in a certain amount of time. they should have spent a few more months and put some more fun things in the levels and cleaned up the gameplay. im glad i only spent 20 bucks on this. you guys still want this game my copy will be at the local disc replay within a few days.

I;m a fan of Sonic games but this one really hit the ground...and hard. The story, the characters, and the leves are good. But the most annoying things are the camera angles, the lack of speed you were given in past titles, annoying glitches, and paths that would kill you if you did not hit them right. Did I mention the long load times? In some cases it requires 4! I'll explain. Start a goal (out of level), it loads, character talks, loads (again), goal, load, character, load. Too much. Load times were just awful. Aside from that and glitches, the game was great.

This game can be enjoyable but the small glitches and the feeling of a product that was created without much effort put in can make it annoying. For the most part, running around and talking to people feels cheesy and unlike what a next gen game should feel like. You can find enjoyment in the game. But if you aren't really a big Sonic fan, you may want to skip it.

No surprise here, bargain priced games mean they aren't that great. Rule of thumb for Sony, they drop games to 30, and the good ones stay there, the bad ones drop lower. If you like sonic, you may enjoy, but there are better games to spend your money on. Kids will enjoy this more then adults.

The game was a drag it has really long loading periods that go right into another loading period! not very well made The only thing other then the graphics that I liked was the 2 player mode where you race agianst eachother in an eviroment to the finish but even that go old quick!

Not much to say about this game. Great Graphics, but the game was poorly made. Not very challenging and just not a good game overall. I'd rather play the old sonic on N64 to be honest. Good game for a younger child of about 8 years of age. Save your money and buy a controller.

We bought this so we could have a 2 player game for us together (GTA, Ratchet and Clank etc are our usual choices, but not 2 player), but also so our 6 year nephews would have something to play when they come to visit. It took well over an hour to play the first 2 player game with them yesterday.  Last night, we had friends over and gave up on the second after nearly 2 hours of play- there's no description of what powers you have, how to attack the "bad guys", or the general mission.  The one player mode seems slightly , but given the amount of time we put into the 2 player mode, we didn't get that far in the 1 player mode.Save your money, or pick a different game to spend it on!

I bought the game because I thought it would be similar to the Sonic games I used to play on Sega, but the only thing close IS Sonic. It's nothing like the Sonic games of the past, if I had known that before I bought it, I would have bought a different game or another controller instead. Walking around talking to people doesn't make for a fun game to me either. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING ELSE!

Please, do yourself a favor and do NOT buy this game. It it probably one of the most annoying gaming experineces I ever had, controls do not respond the way they are supposed to, and you will be stucked in the same level for ages while clumsy Sonic and bad camera shots kept you going over the same thing over and over. Did I mention long and frequent load times?

This is a very good Sonic game although it is not as good as the originals for the Sega Genesis. The gameplay runs very smoothly though and it is easy to see that Sega put a lot of thought into this particular game. I love how intricate some of the levels are and how it makes you think to get past certain levels and areas. I would definately buy this game because it is a refresh from the old Sonic games but still has the old Sonic in it.

It's not fun. Too easy, controls are a bit off imo. I dont enjoy it.

Horrible game, def. not for kids or anybody at that!!!! Very confusing and no help from the menu...What a shame cause I remember playing Sonic when I was a kid and this is nothing like the old-school game, it's much worst....shame

dont get it sonic games just are bad bad things about it: for babys graghics. storyline. gameplay. co-op. when u beat the first boss his like take this how about this!he says it over and over!its very babyish

I like the game!! But I think that I like the old sonic games better...but that might be because sometimes I like things a little old fashion! I still like this game though...it's very challenging, and that's always a good thing!

I thought it would be like the old sonic.. but its not fun at all. I was very disappointed.

This game is alot of fun...But the story line is cheezy in parts AND a couple of the attacks and controls are awkward...But for the most part it's a fun, family game.
