This is an absolutely fantastic amplifier! It enables us not only to use normal device inputs into a high quality system, but also to stream music from our phones, computers, tablets, or other devices from all sorts of sources and services! Fantastic!

This is just what I needed to power a set of outdoor speakers.
Quality, like all my other Sonos gear, is very good. It’s pretty pricey for what it is, but still a good addition to my home.
I did have some setup glitches. Needed to upgrade from the Sonos S1 app to S2, and therefore had to drop a couple of older Sonos speakers from my system.
The Sonos S1 and S2 iOS apps got into an upgrade loop where each app told me I had to use the other to continue which was frustrating. I finally was able to get the system updated from the Sonos app on my computer, deleted and reinstalled S2 on my iPhone, and it’s all been good since.

Bought it to pair some bower & Wilkins m1 speakers to my sonos arc and sonos sub. 125 watts to those speakers makes it sounds great especially for music. I switch it to 2.1 with those speakers and my Martin Logan sub for music and for movies I use the arc , sonos sub and amp powering these surrounds. The sonos arc mimic surround speakers but when you actually have rear surrounds it just feels different.

I purchased this to run my SVS Ultra Bookshelf Speakers, and so far, it’s running them better than anything has so far. I love the connectivity with all of my streaming platforms, and how easy it is to use. I especially love the fact that I am able to purchase other Sonos products and they will all connect and play together. It’s the best way to get whole home audio if you want wireless.

The amps work great with my whole home sound system. They stay consistently connected to my home network. I had them installed by the Geek Squad so I can’t comment on ease of installation but they have been easy to use since. The mobile Sonos app is often slow to load.

If you’re looking for a versatile, high-performance amplifier that perfectly blends modern design, power, and smart connectivity, the Sonos Amp 250W 2.1-Ch Amplifier is a top-tier choice. This device isn’t just an amplifier — it’s a complete audio hub that can power your traditional speakers while seamlessly integrating into your wireless Sonos ecosystem.

We upgraded from a Sonos Connect Amp that was almost a decade old. I was shook by the power this little amp pushes. Our outdoor speakers have never sounded better! The only problem is our neighbors have to put up with concert quality music all summer :)

Sonos is the Mac of audio systems. Love it or hate it, it simply works. I’m an admitted snob when it comes to audio. Years ago I might have called myself a true audiophile and admittedly had way too much money invested in boutique equipment. These days life moves too fast and it’s nice just just hit play and receive instant audio gratification. I drive a pair of vintage Bose 8.2 (all you Bose haters can stop before you even start…we’re not not talking Acoustic-Junk. If you’ve never heard the older Bose speakers you’re completely unqualified to comment) floor standing speakers with this amp along with an SVS Pro 12” sealed sub and it’s amazing. I have wireless Sonos speakers throughout the rest of the house and an older Sonos Connect Amp driving a pair of Wharfedale’s in another listening room.
Sonos isn’t the least expensive system but whole house, excellent quality sound at a reasonable price is priceless.

Excellent Receiver Great sound that added Sonos to my Home Entertainment center. Only need TV remote and don't need my Harmony anymore. It was also a breeze to set up

The amp is easy to set up, and has very good functionality. The 250W does a nice job of driving the 4 Sonance speakers that I've got installed in our new outdoor pavilion structure.
The lack of 5 stars is for the fact that it does not work to run an optical audio cable from our outdoor TV to the amp, allowing it to also provide sound from the TV. There is a fraction of a second latency, and therefore it's a poor application for the amp. Fortunately, the TV's soundbar has 50W of power and provides plenty of volume outdoors. I don't understand the issue with the optical cable, but it appears to be a common problem based upon others sharing their experiences online re this amp.

Easy to connect and sounds great! For the price, I would have like to see more adjustability of sound. However, it is meant to be a simplistic option for creating a hi-quality sound system that is expandable, reliable, and easy to use. These amps are absolutely that. They are good enough for me to purchase 3 of them!

I had heard decent reviews from friends with the prior generation, but the power wasnt enough to push 2 sets of speakers. In lieu of having 4 amps, was able to consolidate to 2 and sound is incredible. The Sonos amp is well designed and the integration with most streaming services is a huge benefit. Alexa skills allow me to operate handsfree anywhere in the house and fill the place with music.

I purchased this amp with the recommendation of an employee who works at Best Buy as a member of the Geek Squad. How right he was.
It fixed my issue when Directv upgraded my system which took away my ability for external pool deck speakers connection.Great sound and ease of use using our cell phones to operate with the Sonos app.

This product works and sounds awesome! I moved into a new home with previously installed outdoor speakers and the configuration of the wires wasn’t quite right for me to use my existing setup. Previously, I used a Sonos connect plus a separate amp, which worked fine, but didn’t fit well. Not only was the new setup easy and the space worked, but the sound is even better than the previous system. Highly recommend!
