Was a little hesitant about getting this product, but once again Alex was spot on!! I love this little guy. Having it connected to my phone and me getting my music, I’m in heaven. Loved learning about this!! Can’t wait to get more speakers thru the house!!

I purchased this to connect my sound system. Was very easy to set up, simple, straight forward Sonos app direction.

The Sonos system gives a hassle free setup for a whole home system. Sound quality, while not audiophile level, is good for the price. Cons Sound quality is fine for background listening but not audiophile quality. Keep the good amp and speakers in one room. The DAC in the Connect is definitely subpar. If you are hooking into a device using the connect's digital output then no worries but if you have an older amp and are using the analog connection you will need to invest in a standalone DAC. There are occasional dropouts which are annoying but infrequent enough to be acceptable. I have to cycle the downstairs speakers occasionally to reestablish connectivity. No Bluetooth. You'll have to buy a separate Bluetooth receiver. Pros Setup is just plug and play. Couldn't be easier. App is quite nice and easy to use. Sound quality is good for the price. I love the ability to listen to different music in different rooms. For me the ease of setup and use makes this system quite worthwhile. It's a little frustrating that they haven't put in a good DAC and Bluetooth support, but given the overall quality and ease of the rest of the system I can overlook those issues.

The Sonos Connect is an easy, inexpensive way to bring streaming to a traditional stereo system. Setup is easy and the the product works well, especially if you choose to use the digital out to an external DAC. Resolution may not quite match high-end streaming devices, but for many people it will be all they need. To get the best sound, use high-quality files such as FLAC or Apple Lossless and be sure to choose the “uncompressed” setting on the Sonos.

I purchased the Sonos Connect for my husbands special headset to help him hear, so he could listen to the music we enjoy. It works fantastic, he says he can now hear and enjoy music that he hasn't been able to hear for at least 15 to 20 years.

This is the best piece of equipment I own!! I had been wanting the ability to play the music on my phone through my conventional stereo, but hated the fact that I had to keep it plugged into it. With the SONOS Connect I can take my phone anywhere in the house with me and change songs whenever I want!

I wanted to control some outdoor Bose speakers that are connected to a receiver. This box worked perfectly and was easy to install. Much cheaper than purchasing 2 New Sonos play5 and was able to continue using the Bose outdoor speakers with the Sonos Sytem

We purchased this Sonos Connect to integrate into our existing 4.1 system in our living room. It integrates well if you're already bought into the Sonos ecosystem. I'll likely be moving this to the basement to use it with my stereo setup and replacing our 4.1 + Sonos with a Playbase or Playbar. If you haven't bought into the Sonos ecosystem, you might want to consider what Bose has going on. Their SoundTouch series offers the same functionality for $200 less.

This was very easy to setup. The box comes with one cable with left and right channels and another that has just a single plug at one end. When I first looked at this thought it just allowed me to stream sonos to my stereo but I can also play my CDs and stream that to my Sonos speakers. Sound fidelity on the stereo is very good. Gave it only 4 stars cause the price is high

I was reluctant to buy this for quite a while, finding it difficult to justify the price for what is, essentially, a signal input switch. However, frustration at not being able to enjoy the same music throughout the house eventually became too much, and I bought one. Set-up was very straightforward once the cryptic instructions had been deciphered, and the unit has worked immediately and well ever since. But it's still really expensive for what it does.

Thus far, works flawlessly. I have this hooked up to my existing stero and my Bose Soundlink 2. Seemless integration.

Bought this to integrate into my system to get streaming sources distributed throughout my house. Set up was really easy, but overall, while it works. the app experience is not as great as everyone says it is.

If you have or love Sonos products, this thing will convert everything else you own to similar functionality!

I bought this item so that I could my entire music library through my Bose home stereo speakers without having to handle multiple CD's or unreliable Wi-Fi connection to the stereo receiver. It was relatively easy to set up and works well. The only problem is that the connection from the receiver to the Connect that allows you to play audio from your receiver through all of your connected Sonos devices has proven difficult to set up.

bought this open box from best buy. may as well have been new. can't beat sonos software for listening to music.

I wanted to be able to connect outdoor speakers to my Sonos network. I already had a stereo system that the speakers were connected to. This was easy to set up and allowed me to create a new room and route music through my Sonos system to the outdoor speakers. Great for connecting non-Sonos speakers to your system. I'm only deducting one start because it's really expensive considering what it does.

It serves the purpose of connecting some of my equipment wirelessly allowing me to use blue tooth on my amp!

I purchased the Sonos to stream music to my existing stereo set up. I was skeptical on whether the music would sound good or not. I am no longer a skeptic and enjoy using and listening to my streaming music. I am now looking into how I can connect to my built in speakers for parties.

I bought this for the line-in so I can connect my record player to my Sonos system. Works like a champ.
