Excellent for Turntables

Word of caution: you will need a phono a pre-amp if you're using an older style turntable or one that does not have a built in phono pre-amp! My wife was hesitant at first, because of the price, but when I told her that she could listen to her Robert Goulet records throughout the entire house, it was a done deal.

You can't go wrong with a Sonos anything.

Perfect complement for media room and whole house audio. Although I have wifi in my home, the connect gives me he dedicaed network my Sonos play 1s need. Sweet.

Great add to my Sonos system

I added this to my home office to use my Definitive Technology computer speakers to get music through my on-line services and also to have a line-in from the PC to play throughout the house. It was easy to add to my Sonos system and works great. I highly recommend the sound of Sonos speakers and now this device is a great way to tie other sources or speakers into your system.

Great way to add existing gear...

Now I can enjoy the Play1 and Play3 speakers throughout the house and around the pool and my existing speakers are not just collecting dust. Set up is less than 5 minutes and the web and iPhone apps make it easy.
