Very easy to install. Hold the weight of the ERA300 speaker effortlessly. I had it installed upside down because my speakers are too close to the ceiling level, so followed manufacturer recommendations. It required me to disassemble, rotate 180 degrees and reassemble the mounting base from the bracket, but it was very easy to do, only one Phillips screw and done. You need to make sure to install the base onto a stud if tour walls are gypsum board, but this is true for most weight bearing brackets on wood walls, and the spacing and location for the wall screws allow its installation to be easy and not miss the wall stud. After installed it looks very aesthetically pleasing.

These Sonos wall mounts are definitely heavy duty. I mounted mine in the wall studs due to the weight of the speakers and the mount. They are easy to install and the Sonos 300s fit perfectly.

I've been an owner of Sonos products for over 12 years. I've recently upgraded to the Sonos Era 300's and needed wall mounts to put behind me couch. The Sonos Era 300 are high quality and handle the 300's well. If you're not mounting directly to a stud you should use a butterfly/toggle bolt as the Era 300's are pretty heavy.
