I returned my Bose Portable Home Speaker and got this. It is so amazing. The detail blows the Bose Portable Home Speaker away! I only wish I could afford two so I can do a steep pair. I’ll wait for a sale to do that. I have read about people having issues with mesh WiFi. I do not have any issues with this speaker and Google WiFi. Play flawlessly. I’ve heard Sonos speakers before but never owned any until the Sonos Move speaker. No regrets. The bass is excellent, it’s clear and detailed. This speaker is a keeper!

Love this product. We have the beam sound bar, surround sound speakers and the move. This speaker is my favorite because it’s portable and has awesome sound quality.

We bought this speaker after a great experience with our Sonos System in the family room. This speaker does not disappoint. It has appropriate bass and sounds terrific. The portability is great. Alexa is awesome. It is a great addition to our outdoor patio. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? For me, yes. The sound quality, portability, and reliability are exceptional. Sonos has hit another homerun!

I have given the Sonos portable speaker for quality, great and powerful sound, ease of use, set up. Somewhat expensive but worth it. I had troubled Receiving it due to USPS delivery issues (over a month) but, after I called customer service, they sent me another one which only took days.

So much flexibility with this speaker on the move. Great sound quality, no matter what room you put it in flexible to bring outside and listen to music while barbecuing.

First off let me start by saying that I own many Sonos products. This speaker is great but it can be clunky, the setup can be tedious if it’s not done correctly the first time. The sound is very impressive considering it’s a portable speaker, now that I’ve mentioned that’s it’s portable keep mindful that it weighs over 6-1/2 lbs. lastly as usual the Sonos packaging was great and it does come with a nice carry bag.

The ease with which Sonos speakers are detected in Sonos app and get connected over wifi is something really fascinating. Got this speaker up and running in 2min max, and that includes updating to latest firmware. Speaker sounds great, and has auto truetone feature which adjusts sound (not drastically but slightly) according to speaker placement in room. Noticed music breaking once over Sonos app, i.e. song suddenly stopped playing on the speaker even when I could see it moving forward in the app. Reducing one star for that and the average battery life it provides considering the size and weight. But still it is good to run for at least 8-9 hours depending on volume level.

SONOS MOVE portable speaker has great sound and good battery life. Also easy to pair wirelessly with my other SONOS speakers using my iPhone or iPad. I like the fact I can take it to the beach, camping or backyard without any problems. A solid speaker for the money.

Great outdoor speaker for around the house. It has fantastic sound and the controls are easy to use. We have not travelled with it but have the Sonos roam which would likely be better due to size. For the backyard the move is perfect though. The only complaint I have is that I cannot add it as a stereo pair to my other Sonos speakers. It can be paired with other Sonos speakers though so still pretty a great addition.

WAOOO ! This product is outstanding. After tested Bose Home 500 and the performance sound quality I skip that option and I'm super happy with the sound quality and music options offer with Sonos Move and the Sonos Platform. Never tested before and the product quality is awesome. My first Sono product and I can assure you that will not be the last ! Now consider the new sound bar to be add to my room TV. Sonos Move 5 star A+++

Great speaker. This speaker sounds very clear and is very good for songs that are singing. Rap is decent on it but I would lean towards some other speakers if you want to listen to rap. However, the smart features are good and the sound quality and convince of the charging dock that comes with it makes it a great speaker.

We love our Sonos Move. The sound quality is perfect and it is easy to use. You have to get the Sonos application to be able to use it.

This is the 1st speaker bought with Sonos. The Sonos Move is amazing. The speakers sound is clear and decent bass. Connection is simple and easy. Looking Sonos Arc and Gen3. Good job Sonos.

I've had the Move for about a week now. None of the Best Buy stores in my area (I visited four) had functioning Sonos displays since the product launched. That's sad. Therefore, I never got a chance to audition the speaker before ordering for myself. I managed to grab an open box one from bestbuy.com that was too good of a deal to pass up, especially on a brand new Sonos device. I have several Sonos products (Connect, Amp, Beam, Play:3, some stereo paired Ones with a sub, and some single Ones in other rooms), so I was excited to check out the Move. The RANGE on the speaker is incredible. If you worry about bringing your speaker outdoors where your wifi connection isn’t very good, I would still give this speaker a try. I took the speaker for a walk on the first night I had it and ended up a city block away – well beyond the reach of my wifi. I’m not sure if it just has incredibly strong wifi reception or if it was connected to Sonosnet, but this speaker will work flawlessly anywhere in my house or in my yard. The device also has that signature sexy Sonos look. It is definitely not your run of the mill portable Bluetooth speaker. It has a heft to it and won’t be traveling in your carryon bag. But the handle works great and the bag Sonos provides with it is sufficient. I was a little disappointed with the sound (thus the 4 star rating). I think my expectations were high from reading all of the great reviews so I was mildly let down. It is slightly better than the One and I think does a better job at producing a full sound than the One. (I attached a photo of the Move next to a One for comparison.) It is, however, FAR superior than typical Bluetooth speakers on the market today, as it very well should be for the price tag. With that being said, I wouldn’t recommend the Move to be the primary Sonos speaker on which you will critically listen to music. The Move can be stereo paired with another Move, but I’d recommend stereo pairing a One and a One SL for less than the price of a second Move (and of course pairing with a sub for incredible sound) and keeping the Move somewhere to be able to easily grab to take to the back yard or patio and also enjoy some music inside the house. Somewhere like the kitchen (I have mine in the dining room). The speaker switches between wifi and Bluetooth flawlessly – just push the button on the back. The controls on the top are similar to other Sonos products, so there won’t be much of a learning curve, if any. I also like how Sonos will offer a DIY battery replacement, so you don’t need to worry about this expensive device becoming obsolete. The charging stand is nice and easy to dock the speaker, but there is also a USB-C charging port on the back so you can charge away from home without needing to pack the dock (which is fortunate because it has a giant brick charger. Is that necessary?) As with other Sonos devices, the best part is how the app unifies multiple streaming services into one easy to use app. My “My Sonos” home screen has my favorite SiriusXM, Tunein, Radio.com and podcasts all under one roof. You can also add multiple Spotify accounts (my partner sees his Spotify account on his phone and I see my Spotify account on my phone). All in all, the Move is exactly what I wanted it to be. I’m looking forward to seeing similar product launches now that Sonos has embraced Bluetooth.

Sound quality is fantastic! It’s heavier than I thought. Very well built.

This speaker has HUGE sound! I will put it against any Bose. It works well with a Sonos network in your house. This is perfect to bring outside to pool / fire pit. If it gets out of WiFi range just switch it to blue tooth. Little to much bass to bring to golf course. Unless Monday and nobody is there. I highly recommend this. If you own any sonos product and don’t own this you are missing out.

Absolutely enjoy my Sonos Move with Wi-Fi,Alexa and Google Assistant. I have taken the Sonos Move to my Open House listings, backyard gatherings and garage, to name a few.The sound is SIMPLY AMAZING! Build quality is second to none.Gonna buy another!

Needed something for my I-phone music to play in backyard and when in the garage. Loud enough for my wife to tell me to turn it down while out front trimming bushes. Crystal clear, no static. when I want to listen to my Radio Station talk show, I switch it over to Bluetooth...haven't quite figured out the wifi trick to do that. I have a SONOS home theater system, so knew this one would be awesome and no concerns over it. Picture is inside with SONOS MOVE charging next to my SONOS Bass and SONOS ONE.
