We already had a Sonos 3 and 5 players and decided to add one additional for my studio. The players work great and are easy to start from phone, PC, or tablet. For parties we join 2 or 3 speakers as a set to all play the same music from ITunes, Radio or Pandora. These are expensive but high quality for the money. Sonos frequently updates the hardware via an easy update option within their software.

Love this sound system. I live in a small condo/large highrise downtown Chicago. Before my Sonos System (Three Play 3's) I had one docking station form a very high end brand. I loved the quality but I wanted to get more surround sound in my condo. A friend introduced me to Sonos and I now have a Play 3 in my bedroom, kitchen/living room/bathroom and I love it!! When I had only one docking station I had to turn the music up so loud to carry it throughout my condo. Now I can have the volume at a medium level but I can hear it when I go from room to room. I LOVE this system! Plus it operates off my iPad, iPhone, and iTunes on my laptop. I was just introduced to Pandora and that is fabulous as well . Installation was a piece of cake and I'm not the most tech savvy so that says a lot. This is a wireless system so you must have wireless Internet service. Wouldn't trade this new system for anything. Thank you Sonos and Best Buy!

great sound and wireless set up was easy. definitely worth the price and the flexibility to move the speakers around easily is great. We have most of the system with soundbar, subwoofer, 4 play 1s (2 for surround sound) and this Play 3. Love it! The Best Buy staff always provide great customer service!

I bought this System3 speaker as an open box. it was in very good shape and I was able to just plug it into power and connect it up to my network of Sonos products and it worked great. The System 3 sounds great good volume and is perfect for outside. I use this speaker to move around the house it is simple and works. I will keep my eyes out for another one. Fantastic company Sonos.

I love my SONOS setup. I have 4 of the Play3 speaks throughout my house and having the same music in everyone is just as awesome as I thought it would be. I'm not an audiophile but I do like the way the speakers sound. Set up is a piece of cake. The SONOS app is constantly adding new ways to play music on the speakers. Lots of streaming services to use. Would be better, however, if you could play more of the apps over the speakers and bypass the SONOS app completely. You can do this with Spotify and Pandora. Would like to be able to use Stitcher on their app. As time goes by I'm sure more apps will have this feature.

I love the ease of use of the Sonos systems. This Speaker works great, and sounds perfect in a medium sized bedroom. I am still trying to figure out how to use the Sonos system in my living room for both Surround Sound with the SoundBar (excellent Theater sound for a medium sized living room) and then when just listening to music as a Stereo Pair. Have not figured that out yet.

No issues, easy setup and sounds great! I suggest using the sonos system.

I was a little nervous that the overall sound wouldn't be strong and rich. I was especially nervous about the depth of bass. Wow, was I blown away after we gave it a test drive in our living room. The sound is incredible for its size. The base and treble are strong, clear, and rich. We love it!

Beautiful looking Sound amazing Just the right size

I bought 2 Play:3 speakers to par in stereo (left and right channels) to provide music for my main living area. Set up was incredibly easy and the sound is awesome. We have integrated it with our Echo Dot - and playing songs is so simple - my 4 year old can use the voice commands to get music to play through the speakers.

I picked up this unit for a "Great Room". By great room standards it isn't so great, just 25' x 25'. I have several of the Play 1's but I figured a larger speaker would work better in this space. I could have bought two two and set them up for stereo sound but I am not that much of an audiophile, I just like good background music. I compared the Play 3 and Play 5 only to find, in my opinion, the sound quality was the same. Because of this I let price be the determining factor and cheaper won over larger. The speaker plays great and since I have my router located in thg great room (the most central room in my house) I was able to hard wire this speaker and use it as a "access point" for all of the rest of the speakers. I am now up to 6 Sonos speakers in the house and now I have music in almost every room of the house. Well, except for the two guest bedrooms, I don't want my guests to like it so much here that they don't leave. :-P

Easy setup and great functionality. We use this in our bedroom but with the volume increased easily fills the upstairs with background music. I did notice a slight change in listening experience when the speaker is turned vertical. In my opinion it sounds better this way which may be the intention for this unit, especially if paired with another Play 3.

Great product. It's easy to set up and the sound is fantastic

I had watched this product for future purchase. I'm glad I did. It is powerful but not intrusive in the space. I thought I wanted Bose but wasn't confident that their wifi system was simple enough. Plus, Bose is just way too overpriced. Sonos has it all figured out and I feel so comfortable with this product adding quality music in my home.

Two things you need to know: The sound is amazing, and the Sonos system is incredabley easy to set up! If you have wireless you are all set, nothing else needed. We love the crisp sound and full base. I have three Play 3's and one Play 5. My home is now a musical paradise.

Yet another Sonos speaker for us. They are trivial to setup, sound great and are easy to control from any phone, tablet or computer. We have 2 x :3, 2x:1 and a TV bar. Can easily synchronize or listen to what you want in your own space. Ties to Pandora, Sirius and easily connects to your music library on your computer or NAS.

The Play 3 Sonos speaker was easy to setup. I have it paired in stereo with another Play 3 along with a Play Sub and for music the speakers/sub sound great and being wireless makes setup quick and easy. For movies I would have to say they sound clear and loud enough; however, there is a hall (echo) effect that I cannot eliminate.
