The ability to expand the Sonos system exponentially was one of the main things that attracted me to it. It also has great sound and is extremely easy to set up.

I purchased the Sonos Play:3 for my wife as a Christmas present. It was a snap to set up and now she can stream music from her Pandora and Spotify accounts flawlessly. Build quality of the speaker is great and the sound quality is as good as you would expect from a speaker of this size. I will definitely invest in more Sonos gear (eyeing up the possibility of building a wireless home theater system). Why can't all tech products be as well made and easy to use as this?

I was always apprehensive about Sonos because of the price but now that I have had the Play:3 for two months I am actually getting ready to purchase more speakers from Sonos. The speaker was out of the box and playing music in 5 minutes. No problems getting connected to my network, the app worked great on my Android phone and I connected Google Play Music and Pandora in the 5 minute set up time. Everything about the speaker has been great. The sound is good to my ear, though I'm no audiophile. I've experience zero problems and listed to several hundred hours of music so far.

The Play 3 is very easy to setup. It is also very easy to use, and combined with the app and other Sonos zones, it completes the ease and functionality of Sonos. The sound of the Play 3 is very space filling. And, when you really turn it up, it can get loud without distortion. (If you cmbine with the Sonos SUB, watch out). Aesthetically, the chassis looks good on a counter. However, I wish Sonos made an undermount bracket for it (hint, hint). It's easy to use wirelessly with no signal drop or latency. Sonos has done a great job, not only with this product, but all of them in my opinion. I have six Sonos zones running, but only one of which is a Play 3, and it doesn't disappoint.

I bought this product at the direction of a Best Buy employee and couldn't be happier. Frustrated with bluetooth devices that continually lose connection and chime, bleep, etc. then this device is for you as it works over your home WiFi network independent of bluetooth. So much better and the app is intuitive and includes options for turning on/off music automatically. One drawback - no battery. Has to be plugged in. Not an issue for my application. Highly recommend this product. The sound is amazing for its relative small size.

This speaker was easy to install with the sonos system. It gives great sound and no wires. It was worth the extra money. Highly recommend.

I'm a huge fan of Sonos in general. I have a ton of Play 1's, I have one of the Play 3's, and one of the Play 5's. They are all great! If you have a room that you are looking to fill with sound that is a bit bigger than your bedroom, such as a kitchen, or living room, the Play 3 is ideal. They are very easy to setup and install and the sound is great. If you are looking for something with deep bass, I would probably encourage you to spend the extra money and get the Play5.

The Play 3 is very easy to set up and have an awesome sound. I have two. Would be buying more if they were a little less expensive.

Being a music lover, it broke my heart to learn how expensive it would be to wire my new home for music! That said I waked in the magnolia section of my local best buy and found out my options. The sales guy explained what I sought...a great sounding, take the sound anywhere, system was right in front of me no need for hard wiring. Sonos has a great selection of music through its app I can also subscribe to other services and even pick up local radio stations on the amazing transportable music box! The sonos five speaker lights up my parties on the deck and when I'm not outside can fill the main parts of my home with crystal clear tunes! I am the proud owner of two sonos fives. One rocks my kitchen the other my living area and a smaller sonos three is in the bedroom. I can set them to play the same station in all rooms or I can set three different stations one per box. These portable go anywhere boxes are perfect for when the kids are in the garage playing ping pong and want to listen to rap, while the older crowd is inside chatting and getting their fill of seventies, and the rest of the party animals are outside listening to outlaw country! Needless to say these boxes are my most valued assets! While the fives are my favs because they are big and bad (five speakers per box) the sonos three holds its own in smaller spaces or for times when u don't want to fill you entire street with music. These speakers are made to blast without ant distortion. You can add on to these systems so start with one. I suggest a five or if u want to blow the doors down try the playbar and subwoofer for dual purpose surround sound for the living room / blow the doors down experience for playing music off the sonos app or other service e.g. Iheartradio. You can demo them in stores to figure out which size is right for all the zones in your home!

The Sonos speakers/system are as good as you can buy for quality, experience and ease of setting up. Thank you Sonos!

VERY EASY TO SET UP AND USE. SOUND IS GREAT. ONLY DOWNFALL IS THEY DONT SUPPORT WINDOWS RT FOR SURFACE TABLETS.

I use this speaker in my bedroom to extend the reach of my Sonos system. This speaker delivers crisp highs and deep bass. It sits flat on my dresser and does not take up much space. It's easy to play my Sirius XM radio stations through it. It was even easy to set up...Took it out the box, plugged it up, and it added to my existing system. It took 2 minutes!

Very much enjoying Sonos. The audio quality is excellent and the multi-room/multi-source flexibility is exactly what I was going for. I did have some trouble with set up at first - apparently Sonos couldn't connect to the 5GHz network my Comcast router was putting out and needed to be on the 2.4GHz network. Once I ironed that out, the rest was easy and adding new speakers has been a breeze.

I've tried many wireless speakers and the Sonos speakers are awesome with great sound with plenty of bass. Sonos provides plenty of options with music in various rooms and now it seems Sonos is finally linking up with some of the home automation products. This is a must if you are adding speakers in additional rooms and don't have the ability to have direct wired speaker access. Try them I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I was impressed with how easy this unit was to install right out of the box. Downloaded app & added my streaming music services in only a few minutes. The sound quality is fantastic! I really like how easy it is to move unit to a different area when needed. (e.g.- backyard BBQ) I'm still trying to figure out how to sync my iMac music folder and wish there was a quicker way to adjust the volume quickly...my only minor gripes.

Very happy with this purchase. Setup was pretty easy and the sound is so much better than I expected. Was toggling between the Sonos system and a portable Blutooth speaker but went with Sonos based on reviews and the Best Buy sales person's insistence. Very happy I went this way. Also picked up two Play1 speakers for a multi room setup, which again, was pretty easy to do. Was able to save a few $$ as this was open box.

I have been adding to my SONOS system for the past year and will keep adding. I now have the Playbar, Sub and 2 Play 3's for the surround on my TV. I also have 1 Play 3 that I use as a portable speaker for outside and in my office. The streaming from just about any music source a person might have and the sound quality make these speakers a must have! I highly recommend these speakers even if you just start with one.

In remodeling think about outlets in unusual places so you can install speakers where ever

I originally bough two of the Play 3s to be part of my sound system for my television. I loved the sound so much I bought a single Play 3 for my study in order to listen to music. And I've just added another one for our enclosed porch. While there are occasional connection glitches, the setup is very easy and the sound is superb. I am especially happy with the sound quality and clarity at low volume.
