This speaker was easy to set up as part of a surround system and sounds great. The wireless function is a great option for those not wanting to run speaker wires.

I recently purchased 4 Play3's, and I couldn't be more happy. The speakers have great sound and are very versatile. I can move them around and I can use them in stereo mode when they are in the same room. 4 are plenty, but I will def be adding more for my surround sound and home theatre system.

I bought 2 play 3s to pair on my back patio. The speakers sounded great in the store and in my living room before I put them outside but I was nervous about them being loud enough to carry once outside. They work great though and put out plenty of high quality sound. I'll definitely be purchasing more to pair throughout my home

Fantastic speaker addition to my collection. I use this speaker in my kitchen for superb sound while I am cooking. Easy to set up and listen to Pandora or Slacker radio or even songs you have on your phone. Excellent quality and worth every penny!

i have 4 of the play3 speakers already and they are connected to my other Sonos products and the whole house just shakes with the sound of music, many have commented on the quality of both the sound and the surprisingly good bass that these speakers have. I do not own a PlayBase.

My friend recommended this one. I bought it and wow this is good speaker. You can possibly search any radio stations out there not just your area and listen music from that specific stations. And using your wifi, you can always change radio stations from your room, living room and anywheres. Overall satisfied.

I bought two Sonos play 3's for my basement family room after initially wanting to purchase the Sonos play 1's. I'm glad I went with the 3's because of my basements large size. They fill my basement with rich, clear sound that really makes my movies and music rock. They also perform well with my Sonos sub.

I already have The playbar and a pair of play 1s in my living room, so I needed a speaker for the master bedroom to bring the wonderful sonos experience to the second level of my house. I am very happy with my purchase of the play 3 because it does not disappoint. I seriously considered both a stereo pair of play 1s as well as the 2nd gen play 5, but the play 3 turned out to be perfect for the bedroom. The $500 play 5 is definitely in a different sound class, but I feel as though it would have been underutilized in my bedroom. The play 3 does a great job of getting sound throughout the room and trueplay really helped to keep the speaker sounding good even when placed in a less than ideal location. If you are looking for an affordable Sonos option for a medium sized room, the play 3 will work perfectly.

This speaker had a great sound and was easy to use. Due to copyright protection laws, I guess...I am not a lawyer, some songs would not play. After multiple tries to correct it, I returned this and exchanged it for the Bose Soundlink 3. It's Bluetooth and there is not any troubles playing all my songs. The problem was running it through the wireless... If you played it directly from your home computer, it was fine. Just didn't work well do our situation. Most songs were older and a different format. Read you could pay $25/year for iTunes Match but no guarantee...

The Product is excellent, sound quality is near Studio Reference. And other than a power cord the wireless connectivity is outstanding and the future of Home Audio. The best part is Sonos actually walks the walk and provides Award Winning American Tech support. Hats off to you Sonos for doing it Right!

Sonos wireless speakers are excellent performers. Great sound, dependability and all around excellence. They are powered and must be plugged into an outlet, but are easily movable from room to room, if you like. And, they can be “tuned” to the shape and size of the room.

I purchased the Sonos Play 3 after hearing my neighbors Sonos Play 1 speaker. I was amazed by the sound and ability to control it from your phone. I decided to get the next step up as I was in the store comparing the sounds of the different Wifi speakers. The speaker has amazing sound and a very sleek look. The Sonos app is extremely user friendly and offers several popular music apps and the ability to play music from shared folders over your wireless network. I use the app from both my laptop and smartphone with ease. I have also been using the alarm clock feature which I love. I can't wait to add more speakers to my Sonos system.

I heard great things about Sonos speakers and finally bit the bullet for my wife's Christmas preset. It was super easy to set up and sounds fantastic! We got two 3's for the kitchen and the bedroom. Next is to replace the TV bar and woofer. Very pleased with the quality and glad we took the plunge!

Definitely impressed with what this little speaker can do. I bought this Sonos specifically because it toted the ability to really fill a room with music. This speaker does just that and with impressive quality sound. The speaker does require wireless access. Actually hardwired the speaker into the wall to make for a more responsive connection. The Sonos app is a little tedious, asking you to log-in to all of your music apps like Pandora, Google Music. You can avoid this headache by just connecting to the speaker via Bluetooth.

Everything is good about it. Sound is good, is easy to configure, you can listen to music from different sources, included (my preferred option) the music I have in my network drive. Easy to control .. great if you want to expand it with other units Best think I have bought in quite a long time.

I have been buying Sonos speakers for years. I continue to add to my collection. They are simple to set up and so easy to use with their free App. The sound is great. Nobdy can believe that much quality sound can come out of such a small speaker. I'll keep adding on!!! Highly recommend!!

Got a whole package of sonos for a new house, and only put one of these in the office just for background music. It’s powerful enough to really fill the room with good quality music, at both low and high volume. Fits perfectly on a bookshelf and looks great!

Great sound from this speaker! I bought this to add to my Sonos system for my home. This Sonos 3 is in my media room and kicks out great sound throughout my finished basement. Really great addition to my Sonos 5 and Sonos 1's. Easy to connect to your wireless internet system too!

If you are looking for a wireless speaker with incredible sound for an open area first floor then get this. It is simple to set-up and works easily with a smart phone or tablet. Very user-friendly. Finally you can add multiple speakers and have different music playing in separate rooms.
