Purchased the sonos soundbase and was the best decision!

Love everything about it - great sound and connectivity.

This Sonos Playbase is amazing the sound is clear and crisp watching saving private ryan in 4K sounds amazing on the playbase and there is no clutter just set tv on top. I would highly recommend this.

Live the sound quality from this playbase. Switches easily between music sources and tv content . Provides movie theatre like experience without having multiple speakers all over my bedroom

I have the Playbase set up with 2 surrounds. It sounds great. I really don't need the subwoofer, but I will probably get one. The setup was very easy. I was able to get my Comcast remote to control the system.

I've had cheap sound bars before, and they only sounded marginally better than my TV speakers. You get what you pay for. The Sonos Playbase sounds great. A bit pricey, but again, you get what you pay for.

This is a fantastic speaker and worth every penny of the upgrade versus the Playbar. The unit is great for small to medium rooms and works well as a stand alone item. I set mine up in a basement theater room (15x25ft) with the intent of adding a Sub later but after the initial set up I was so happy with the sound I decided that nothing else was needed as I can stream music and still hear it very clearly even from the floor above it. The only drawback is the size. It is larger than most base units but when you consider what you’re getting I found it to be a minor inconvenience.

The sound is great. Pairing with other speakers is a bit flaky. Real surround sound is questionable.

I waited a few weeks to review this. The sound is so much better than the speakers in the TV. The app is great (both on Android and iPhone) but I wish the auto-tune feature would work on Android (only works on iPhone). The auto-tune makes a huge difference. Some reviewers have commented that you don't need the subwoofer as the bass is decent without it - don't listen to them as it does not have enough - ordered the subwoofer and waiting for it to be delivered.

You need the app but sonos is really excellent. This is so compact no need for subwoofer. They have chat on the site. They are going public sonos is so it will only get better.

Simple setup. Not the cheapest or most versatile, delivers what you really need: a substantial fix to flatscreen’s ‘flat sound.’ Works well with iOS/iPhone/iPad.

The Sonos Playbase has terrific sound especially considering the form factor and size. In my setup enough bass without the additional subwoofer. Very happy with this purchase.

We purchased the play base with a boost and two rear speakers and base unit. Love the system.

The initial set up required a wired connection to my hub, after recognizing my network I was able to unplug and relocate back to my theater room were connections were seamless

I got the Playbase, sub, and 2 Sonos 1’s for a home theater system. Easy setup, great sound. Like it so much We are thinking of buying another system for our other TV.

This is one of the best electronic purchases I have ever made. Incredible sound and fits so perfectly under a TV. This has changed the way we watch movies and I love it.

I replaced my old surround system with this system. I have the play base and 2 Sonos 1’s. I think it is a great system with excellent quality build. I would recommend if you are looking to upgrade to newer technology and want to keep it simple. So far no problems and it super easy to install. Just a reminder this isn’t going to replace the power and precision of a truly wired surround system that used and amplifier but it is a very good alternative. I like and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality product.

The tv comes to life, music has a perfect blend of high, mids and lows. Set up is a breeze, the playbase is worth the price.
