Excellent sound quality with good bass response for its size. Not a fan of the WiFi only connectivity.

Hooked it up to our record player as the primary speaker, but also thrilled that it also works with our Google Mini/Assistant. It checks all of our boxes. Only reason I gave it 4 stars, is that it is heavily reliable on wifi, and if your wifi signal is not great, then you'll want to re-organize your wifi set-up. We ultimately had to invest in a mesh system, so the Sonos would get the signal it needs in order to work.

Purchased a refurb Play:5..it came defective. I contacted Sonos and did an RMA return/swap. They sent me a new FIVE (new model) and wow is this thing amazing. Will be getting a 2nd to pair with it for my basement.

Play5s are great if you’re looking to upgrade from the play3s or play1s.

I have sonos in every room of our house. This is the BEST product on the market. My wife uses sonos every day. I have referred sonos to at least a dozen people who have it in there house.

Great job on the refurbished play5 sonos.. saved money and it still looks brand new.

I love my Sonos system and was very excited to get the play five but it definitely was not what I was expecting. The volume on it has to be turned way up and the quality of sound is just like the Play one. Also, where the cord connects to the speaker, becomes loose easily.

Sonos does It again. Big sound and wireless connectivity.

There are better sounding speakers at this price point, but Sonos systems are unbeatable in convenience. If you want wireless speakers, there really isn’t a better option. Great product overall.

Have it in my garage and is perfect for that space

I bought this refurbished from Best buy. It did not disappoint. Same quality as the one I purchased new.

Tried hooking it up and it was still connected to the previous owner and Sonos couldn't fix it, so sadly I had to return it. Even though I always wanted that speaker and saved up for it, very poor service for Sonos, I was very disappointed

I realize you take a chance with a refurbished model. Maybe a few nicks, but disappointed that the speakers don’t work properly. Major rattling noise especially when playing songs with heavy bass. Get what you pay for I guess but will be bringing this back.
