Customer Ratings & Reviews

I added the Sonos Sub Mini to pair with my existing Sonos speakers (including the Era 300), and it instantly transformed my listening experience. The compact cylindrical design fits discreetly in my living room corner without taking up much space, yet it delivers surprisingly powerful, tight, and clean bass down to 25Hz. Movies and action scenes now have deep, immersive rumble without any distortion or vibration, while music gains warmth and fullness across genres. Setup was effortless through the Sonos app with Trueplay tuning, and it blends seamlessly with the rest of my system. If you have a smaller to medium room and want rich, room-filling bass without the bulk of a full-size sub, the Sub Mini is ideal. It punches well above its size and price. 5 stars all the way!

The Sonos Sub Mini delivers impressive, deep bass in a compact design. It adds real punch and fullness to movies and music without overwhelming the room. Setup is effortless, performance is tight and balanced, and it pairs perfectly with the Beam for a big upgrade in overall sound. A fantastic value for small to medium spaces.

The Sonos Sub 4 has completely transformed my home theater experience. The bass is deep, powerful, and incredibly clean without ever sounding muddy or overwhelming. Paired with my Sonos Arc Ultra, it adds a whole new level of immersion to movies, music, and gaming. Explosions hit harder, music feels fuller, and every scene has more depth and impact. Setup was effortless, and the Sub blends perfectly with the rest of the Sonos system. It delivers premium performance and is worth every penny for anyone looking to take their sound system to the next level. Highly recommended!

The Sub 4 is impressive especially considering its relatively small size compared to traditional subwoofers. I only have one Sub4 (next to my sofa), and its bass is palpable even at 1/3 bass volume. Overall physical construction is solid. I have black Sub, so dust on surface is noticeable. White color may be good option for many to avoid dust issue. Look for seasonal sales for better value. The Sub4 is a must-have for watching movies.

[Employee of bestbuy] I’m new to the Sonos ecosystem, and my first Sonos product was the Sonos one. It sounded good for a midsize living room, and I enjoyed listening to music and other audio files on. But when I decided to get the sub mini, I notice a HUGE improvement in the quality/clarity of my one speaker. Big improvement on audio quality as well as louder base response. The sub mini allowed my Sonos One to focus more on audio by minimizing its workload and low frequency sounds. I was still surprised by the difference in quality of music and movies that I would hear. Sometimes I go to the Sonos app and turn the sub on and off while listening to music, and the quality speaks for itself…Amazing! A great buy, if you’re not looking to spend $800 on the Sub Gen3 but still want quality base. I’m looking forward to getting more Sonos speakers for the future.

The mini is perfect for my smaller living room, but the smaller size doesn’t keep it from throwing out some serious bass. It was super easy to add to the Sonos app and connected with my Arc and LG TV immediately. I love it.

Look great and sounds great. Can't tell the difference from a gen 3. The mate finish goes with the rest of the sonos line. I have two arcs in the living room one already has a gen 3 sub. This will go on the other arc or it could be a second sub on the first arc. Also have two fives in the living room. All of them playing music at once sound pretty amazing. You can notice a difference with a second sub. You could just turn up the bass on one sub. It does sound even better with two also evens out where the bass is coming from. Seems to be coming from everywhere. Also says made in China. My gen 3 was made in Malaysia.

This product delivers outstanding sound fidelity with clear, rich audio. The setup process through the app is quick and straightforward, making it easy to get started. The controls are also very intuitive and user-friendly, allowing you to navigate all the features without any hassle. Overall, it's an excellent product that combines high-quality performance with a simple and enjoyable user experience.

I love the kick this sub adds to my Sonos system. It is very easy to install and integrates flawlessly with the ARC Ultra Soundbar. The wireless connectivity feature avoids the mess of running cables and having to hide them. It is aesthetically pleasing.

This Sonos subwoofer is emasculate. The sound is just like the theater. It’s pairs very well with the Sonos arc ultra. It works great with music as well as thriller, horror, and action movies. I definitely give this 10 stars if I had to. This was one of my greatest purchases and I will be buying more Sonos products.Lets just say everyone wants to come over and enjoy the sound. Pop some popcorn, sit back and enjoy the theatrics!Very easy setup on your phone and it took about 5 minutes.

I’d just bought surrounds (era 100s) for my beam gen 2, but definitely felt it was lacking something. I was never really a bass heavy guy, but my dad convinced me that it’ll complete the system. And no joke, it blew me away. It made a huuuggge difference. People on Reddit seem to feel the same as well (which was another reason for buying). The bass is crazy, maybe a little too crazy. I rarely max out the bass (because it’s just way too much, but it’s cool to show off to other bass lovers. It also makes the center and surrounding clearer and more crisps, since there’s less focus on bass for those speakers. I don’t have a massive room (it’s about 12x12 feet), but I can definitely see this being more than enough for larger rooms as well. Don’t regret it one bit and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think you need the sub first before getting the surrounds.

Small compact size and big sound. I have the standard sub and now the Mini. For the money, the Mini is an excellent buy. I would still recommend the standard sub for larger rooms if you prefer a little more bass. I put the Mini in my kitchen island built-ins. It is completely hidden and connected to in ceiling speakers and fills the bass void perfectly!

Sonos Sub 4 is an outstanding subwoofer that delivers deep, powerful bass while maintaining exceptional clarity and balance. It enhances movies, music, and gaming with rich low-frequency performance that adds depth without overwhelming the rest of the audio. Easy to set up and seamlessly integrated into the Sonos ecosystem, it is a premium upgrade that significantly elevates any home theater or listening experience.

The Sonos Sub Mini is an excellent addition to any Sonos setup, particularly for smaller spaces or if you want to enhance your audio system with deeper bass without overwhelming your room. Its compact design makes it easy to fit into tight spaces, and the build quality feels premium. The sound performance is impressive for its size, delivering rich, well-balanced lows that elevate music, movies, and gaming. Setup is seamless via the Sonos app, and it pairs perfectly with other Sonos speakers, such as the Beam or Era series. If you're a Sonos user looking for an affordable, space-saving subwoofer, the Sub Mini is a fantastic choice.

This is our second Sub Mini and we couldn’t be happier. These little guys punch way above their weight class and integrate flawlessly into the Sonos ecosystem. Ours stays nicely hidden underneath the kitchen sink and is paired to two Sonance in ceiling speakers to round out the room. Highly recommend!

The sub sounds awesome it really rounded out the sound of the arc ultra perfectly. Sounds like a movie theater The opposing drivers do seem to make a different form of sound, theres not that much rattle on anything even with it turned up. If you have bad wifi you’ll need to figure out a solution. It wont work on an extender. You can hardline it into your wifi router to get around this.

The Sonos Sub Gen 4 is a fantastic addition to any home theater setup. From the moment I added it, the bass became deeper and more powerful, making movies and music feel much more immersive. Explosions and action scenes hit harder, and the sound feels like it surrounds you, bringing the whole experience to life. When paired with the Sonos Era 300s and the Sonos Arc Ultra, the sound quality is incredible. The Era 300s handle the mid and high tones with great detail, the Arc Ultra adds rich surround sound, and the Sub Gen 4 fills in the low end with booming bass you can feel. Together, they create a full, lively soundstage that makes watching movies way more exciting. The main downside is the price but it’s definitely a premium setup. But for the quality and seamless integration Sonos offers, it’s worth it if you want top-tier sound. The wireless design and build quality make it easy to use and stylish too. If you want your sound to feel alive and immersive, this combo is a killer choice.

Great subwoofer especially for a pair of sonos ear 100. Love how easy it is to connect the sub. The sub mini sounds great especially against a wall. It also just has the power cable so no need for extra cables. It does connect through wifi so make surr it connected to the same one as your other sonos speakers.

Good bass, small size, easy to set-up. Have it paired with Beam g2 and 2x surrounds great for movies and music.

Packs quite a punch for such a small package- super easy to set up and add to my Sonos system. Worth every penny
