First, it's hard to add anything meaningful to what has already been written about the Sonos Sub. Easy setup, YES, (3.5 minutes). Amazing sound, YES. (it will fill your room with bass...movies and music). Classy design, YES (don't hid it under the couch) Wanna buy a second one down the road, YES ( I just added one to my bedroom)

There are many ways to review this product. First, the Sonos system is amazing in itself. They have nailed the software and the networking. You literally plug this thing in, hit a button on it while in the app and it automatically connects. Then it runs test tones and calibrates itself. Then you can add it to any of your other Sonos speakers. I have it paired with a pair of DefTech bookshelf speakers for some awesome full range audio in my living room. Purely evaluating the sub's sound quality, it's excellent. This is a $699 subwoofer with a ton of technology built into it. So you can't put it next to a monster dumb sub that costs a lot more and expect it to hit that hard. But this is as much sub as most people would want or need for music or home theater. It is tight and musical. The 2 drivers are offset to cancel each other out so there is ZERO vibration from this cabinet. It can also lie flat if needed for aesthetics. I have it under a bench in my living room and no one even sees it.

The Sonos system sounds fantastic and it's a joy to setup. Yes it is pricey but you do really get what you pay for with this product. The iOS app is great and I love being able to control all my Sonos speakers from this one location. Very satisfied with my purchase!

As stated before on the Sonos Sound bar review, the Sonos system is amazing! I find the system pricey, but worth the sound and such easy set up! The subwoofer adds a much needed bass to music and movies. I didn't realize what I was missing until we installed it!

Paired this with a Soundbar and two Play 3s. Great bass. When we switch on all our Sonos speakers for a party, the Subwoofer really compliments the whole system. It's heavy, but good looking if you don't want to hide it.

Subwoofer makes a whole difference in a big room. Sound is superior and the bass from the subwoofer is incredible. Subwoofer can go anywhere in the room with an electrical outlet. Wireless sound is amazing.

Must have if you have Sonos sound bar bass is deep takes bar to another level really complete system only fall with the system is sometimes it would lose in that connection which would cause the sub will stop playing could just be my provider not sure easy to set up app is a plus total sound system for your home you can play different music In every room or group the same is addicting you want to buy more speakers and set them up in different areas in your home

We absolutely love our new Sonos system. It's worth every penny. I probably should have invested in soundproofing my den because not only can I hear it clear as day two floors up, I don't think my neighbors are having any trouble figuring out what we are listening to. The clarity is comparable to nothing I've ever heard before in a home system, and the bass is insane. Whether it's watching a movie or listening to music I feel like I'm either at the movies or concert. Definitely recommend getting the sound bar, woofer, and two smaller speakers as your initial setup. You won't believe your ears. Best Christmas present ever for my husband.

I'm very pleased thus far. Its wireless except for the power cable and was easy to set up. If you unplug it and move it, it reconnects on its on in about 20 seconds. The size is great and it looks nice. It makes movies sound great.

This subwoofer has the best sound and the base is awesome! I would definitely recommend this item. The design is also very sleek.

Started out, trying a Bose CINEMATE GS Series II system which would not work with an older Sony flat screen TV. Returned the Bose and decided to replace the TV. Got a smoking deal on a Samsung LED, and tried out the Sono's equipment. Was blown away by the sound of Sonos. Always been a Bose and Sony fan. No more. Sonos sounds so much better to me then Bose. Started with the Sono's Playbar (amazing) added the subwoofer and can't be happier. Want more, it's addicting. Set up couldn't be easier. Plug in power, get on computer with downloaded software, click here, push button there, and you are connected. No trying to hide wires. Could not be better.

I had only purchased the Sonos Playbar and two Play 1 speakers thinking that was all I needed, boy was I wrong. I purchased the sub woofer to see if it would make a difference and indeed it did! The sound coming from this module shook my windows! Even my little dog started freaking out from the deep bass! Definitely a plus to your Sonos system! Easy to set up and looks great in the room.

I've had my SONOS subwoofer for about 4 weeks now and I love it. The bass hits hard and crisp and it's not muddy at all. It completes the 5.1 surround set up perfectly and I enjoy this sub listening to music or watching movies. For example, when I'm watching any Jurrasic movie I can feel the dinosaurs stomp around and it's added a new exciting experience to old movies I've seen so many times. Stop into any Best Buy with a Magnolia and have a sales rep demo Solar Sailor from the Tron Legacy soundtrack and you'll hear for yourself how powerful but refined this sub is.

I purchased this subwoofer with the sonos sound bar. You need a wifi router if you want to connect the two. I don't have internet where I live so I bought a cheapy wifi router at best buy and presto took less than 3 minutes to create a custom home theatre. You can change the tones of the sub using the remote app. It's an investment but it's solid and the customer service is top notch. Sound is intense! Never have to turn it all the way up and since its wireless I can put it discreetly behind furniture without and wires showing.

I purchased the PLAYBAR and the SUB together after going to listen to soundbars in my local BB. The pair was about 3x more than I planned on spending, but after listening to everything in the store for over an hour it was an easy decision. The PLAYBAR alone has amazing sound, the SUB brings it to the next level. Great deep sound with zero rattle or buzz. Very easy to adjust the bass level through the app. No regrets!

Really makes low end bass pop when playing movies and music. Easy set up lets you balance the sound to your room configuration.

I purchased the entire system. The sound bar and sub since I already had a pair of Play 1's that I had bought for my wife. And the fact that you can continue to add to the system is great. Now about the sub, WOW...Deep Bass and when watching any movie, it sounds like I am sitting in the theater. Then when you put music on, the club comes to the house. Once calibrated to your home which is really easy to do through the APP. Only one work can describe the entire Sonos system. WOW!!!!!!!

Great sound and excellent setup of system. The wireless sound system is very easy to setup. Bass has a great sound.

we just purchased an older home built in the 1970s which had not been wired for speakers. It is 6000 ft.² and we wanted music everywhere. We have speakers all over the house and it was so easy to install. The sound is fantastic and my little girls can have music in their bedrooms to fall asleep while we are enjoying our own music on the main floor. The only con about this system are the surroundsound two little speakers that are not that great. But everything else is super!
