The Sonos subwoofer has deep lower tones and pairs well with the surrounding speakers. I paired a playbase with 2 GEN 2 speakers and the subwoofer and the sound is top quality. If you are not using a Sonos subwoofer and are using the playbase for bass tones, you need the subwoofer. The sound quality is much better.

I initially bought the Sonos Beam for our TV and while its awesome by itself it is missing that boom when watching shows. This subwoofer brings that rumble. It is amazing. Sometimes the house shakes a bit on some sounds. I love it! As with all Sonos stuff, it is expensive but very high quality.

This unit makes our walls rumble. The bass is excellent, giving us the live show sound we love experiencing at concerts from the comfort of our couch.

An excellent combination with the Sonos playbar and the play 3 speakers. I highly recommend this product.

Great bass effects from this sub. Compact size. Easy to set-up.

I recently bought the Sonos Sub Wireless and I got to say I am not mad about it one bit. It releases great bass and connects the surround sound perfectly. I have the Sub positioned on the side of my couch by the wall and the vibrations and noise makes me feel like I am in my own private theatre room. I also use it for Pandora and Spotify and you get the full experience with the Sub.

The Sub delivers good, soft bass that completes the sound of the multi room speakers like the One. It can take high volume but also sounds great at low volume levels. can cover a large area, even couple of rooms if it's an open space design (like kitchen and dining room). on the down side - it's overpriced.

Hooked up with my Sonos playbar and speakers. Great base and the setup is easy. Lets you adjust the base to your room and how much base you want.

The Sanos subwoofer and speakers are easy to set up and use. The sound is truly amazing, there is no comparison between this and my old Bose system. You won't regret spending the money. For anyone that has trouble hearing low voices in movies it filters out background noise to make it clear. For great music all over the house or outside just plug into an outlet and enjoy!

I have 2 Sonos Play 5 both sounds so good. One in the living room and one in the family room. Adding one Sonos Sub made the sound very excellent.

i was surprised how easy this was to integrate into the system and it sounds fantastic while watching tv, movies, and music. too often the subwoofers are too much or too little and it takes away from the sound this one wasn't. it isn't super bass heavy it seems to be designed to be accurate to the sound not to vibrate your sole. it reminds me of a very high end audiophile system.

This was the best purchase I have done in a long time. I already had a Play bar, and wanted to add some oomph! Well, this delivered. It's seamless to setup with Sonos and works right out of the box! I would recommend to hardwire all your components, even though they do work wirelessly, It makes for a more stable sound experience.

This is my 3rd sonos sub. I love them because you get good bass without needing to run wires. I have a klipsch set up and no this does not perform as strong as traditional subs. It’s more convenient and user friendly. I listen to a lot of music and watch movies and Sonos continues to blow me away across the board!

Excellent completion piece for a Sonos room sound system . Easy to set up and sync with existing Sonos speakers . Good quality sound either streaming from your favorite service over WiFi or connected to the TV . Very pleased with Sonos speaker products. A bit pricey but worth the price .

I did a ton of research looking for wireless speakers. I’ve had the big bad surround sound system for years and I got tired of tearing it apart and putting it back together if I moved things around at the house. I’ve always had Bose speakers and looked at their wireless speakers first. All was good till I found out the rear surround speakers are only good if connected to the sound bar. Sonos allows you to take a surround speaker into another room and listen to what’s on TV or reconnect via WiFi to what ever you want through their app. I love it!

One of the easiest setups I’ve done in awhile. Sonos is the real deal. Very easy to navigate the Sonos app and most importantly great sound!

I have the Playbar and two Play:1s and thought I was okay without the sub. While the sound without the sub is pretty impressive, I did miss the full balanced sound of having some bass especially when watching movies. This sub more than fills the bass void with no rattles and no muddiness. It really balances the system out remarkably. Highly recommend.

I purchased the Sonos Sub about a month after the Playbar. The Playbar had good base, but I wanted more! The Sub is a great compliment to the Playbar. Music sounds great and 4K UHD movies sound incredible! Especially action movies. It can be placed anywhere in the room and has no rattles or vibration. Very well made product. The best Sub I’ve experienced.
