The sound quality for the One and One SL speakers when paired into surround are not very loud unless you unpair the surround mode and turn up the volume separately but still are not designed for heavy loud music listening at higher levels. I also wish it all had a sound level bar for visual. I got the Sony STRDN1080 receiver and Klipsch speakers instead.

Posted .Thank you for the feedback about your experience! One thing to try to get volume out of the One and One SL as surrounds while listening to music is to make sure that your system is playing music in "Full Mode" instead of in "Ambient Mode". You can find this setting in the System settings in the specific room where your surround system is located. When you are in full mode your volume level will be displayed for the entire zone in the Sonos app.
