I️ purchased these because i work in a very noisy office. So far I️ have to say they are awesome! They block the surrounding noise but I️ can still hear the phone ring and hear voices if someone is talking directly to me. I️ highly recommend them for this purpose. Oh music sounds good too!

I like these wireless noise canceling headphones and the ability to listen to my surroundings by simply raising my hand and touching the side. Bought on sale and at the price paid consider the purchase a good value.

I replaced my 3 year old Beats Studio Wireless after they broke down with these and it was a significant upgrade. Not only do they cancel the noises around the gym better, the sound quality was a lot better as well.

Having ownned two Bose noise cancelling ng ear phones, after reading reviews on Sony's new I decided to give them a try, happy I did best I have ever experienced. Crisp clear sound and great noise cancelling. Thx Sony

The noise cancellation is awesome. I can have these on and the world around me disappears. My wife has been known to flip the lights on and off in the room to get my attention. I don't hear a word she is saying.

The noise canceling is better, the sound is better... These headphones are jus better than the Bose. I've bought bose for years, but this was worth the switch!

Bought these on a whim for an upcoming flight and I have to say that the noise cancellation and feature repertoire is amazing. Being able to hover over one ear to trigger pass through is quite nice as well.

I have been using noise canceling headphones ever since the technology came out. These bring it to a new level. They allow you to change what you hear and what it blocks out. They are totally worth the investment.

Love my Sony MDR-1000X headset.. I use them at work to cut out the surrounding noise from my co-workers and when I travel, it cuts the noise on the plane like baby crying and jet engine...glad I picked these up

Disclaimer: I like Bose. I have a pair of wired Bose Noise Cancelling headsets and went to the store intent on purchasing a wireless pair. A sales associate -- who was very helpful and knowledgable -- mentioned Sony's noise cancelling headset and ask If i'd heard them. I tried in store and my impression was that they were amazing, so I purchased. I just returned from vacation where I used the headphones on a plane. In ambient-voice mode it picks up more than voice, and more importantly, non-voice sounds that are picked up appear to be amplified. I was sitting two rows back from the kitchen and could here every piece of paper being crinkled, beverages being opened, and engine noise. As far as I can tell, the only difference between ambient-voice and ambient-off is that off is louder.

Very happy with sound quality and noise cancellation. We fly a lot and last week when I gave them to my wife, she liked them so much she wouldn't give them back. So I bought her a pair in the silver color.

I've seen this with many headphones on many different phones and tablets, the volume is way too low. The Sony 950 extra bass headphones had great volume as do my Tascam wired headphones, but everything else was unacceptably low. On laptops and MacBooks the volume was perfect.

These headphones connect very easily and are simple to use once you get the hang of them. The sound is great and the noice cancellation feature is particularly nice, especially when I travel through airports.

these are terrific headphones, they are the perfect headphone for anyone who is willing to spend the extra money. I have had no problems with the headphones and they work great for studying in loud places.

Bought it for my boyfriend who djs - he loves the noise canceling, quick attention features and ambient environment settings which are perfect for those club scenes or just when he wants to practice at home.
