|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had one other pair of NC headphones in my life (by a well known company) and I didn't use those that much, so this is really my first *real* experience with NC headphones. All I can say is wow. These Sony NC headphones deliver not only exceptional NC, but also sound quality and comfort. I played around the different settings for allowing ambient noise to come through and then blocking it again and it's truly amazing what they have accomplished. The 20 hour battery life sounds fantastic, though I haven't had the opportunity to put it to the test yet nor have I had a chance to wear these on an airplane, but based on my experiments at home, I'm sure they will deliver in the air as well. The touch controls on the right ear cup are also a great idea. In summary, I love these headphones. I don't know how they will compare to their biggest competitor but, frankly, I don't care. I'm sticking with the Sony.
