After being sent a counterfeit Beats head phone I decided to get the Sony 1000X. It is far better then anything I've tried.

I love the product that i bought, it was the best out of all products available and the features were a big winner for me!

So let’s see how to start this off humm. These headphones are good but not great. One of the problems is that you can’t rest your head against anything if you have them on.

By fare some of the most comfortable headphones out there. synced to my sony phone in 2sec. recommend hi res audio.

Loved them! I actually bought the Bose QC35, at the same time compare and I liked them better. Loved that you could hold your hand over the right headphone to hear when someone speaks. But then went to charge them via USB and they wouldn't charge. That's when I pulled out the ppwk and found out they need to be connected to a COMPUTER USB to charge? What the? Doesn't work for my lifestyle so I returned them. The Bose are nice too, but I thought the Sony quality and sound was better.

Realized this was a perfect buy when sitting behind a screaming baby on a recent flight. Worth every penny!

I don't know why these headphones are receiving such great reviews by so many people. As a direct comparison I wore these and the Bose QC 35. The QC 35s are better in every way. Sound, comfort, durability, pairing, ease of use etc... These headphones have sound leakage at low to medium volumes, which isn't good for an office environment. Ambient noise feature is useless, I work in an office with "pink noise" and that just lets the sound I'm trying to block out back in! After a couple hours of wearing these my ears were hot and a bit sore. Some of the materials feel nice, but the cheaper leather and cheap plastic are a waste of time. There are a ton of people who have complained about the plastic by the ear cups breaking and Sony doesn't want to cover it. I've had the QC 35 for 6 months without a single problem. The touch controls are also quite annoying, if you don't push in the right area you don't get the desired function, and the beeping noise for every push is irritating! The tactile buttons on the Bose are much better and more intuitive. These only pair to one device at a time, unlike the Bose which can be paired to 2 devices simultaneously. I also had to reset the headphones to pair with another device, really? Sony should take some notes from Bose about keeping it simple. Even though I got these on sale for $20 less than the QC 35, they will be going back to the store tomorrow.

I found the sound quality close to Bose but the comfort of the Bose ear pads and sound made the difference for me.

I am a mom of 2 very loud young men. Wearing these headphones while they play helps me immensely.

If you're in the market and have the money, you will never regret the purchase.
