Super Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome sound, with great clarity, including full dynamic range with good bass and great separation of instruments and channels. I'm hearing subtle nuances that I missed with other headphones. I checked everything out there before buying these. These headphones rock. Equalizer in software is a plus. 30 hr battery life is major upgrade. Good noise canceling. Wireless works well for me also.

Best Headphones yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always have headphones on my head. I wear them like a hat even if they are on. People accuse me of wearing a custom special helmet i love my headphones so much. These are comfortable to wear and fully loaded with features. the simple fact that i do not have to remove them from my head to hear around me just blows my mind. i had Bose headphones for years and these are so much bette.r

Best headphones ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really debated spending over $300 for headphones. I am really glad I went for it. These headphones work exactly or better than claimed in the company description.

A game-changer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been in the market for noise-cancelling headphones for a while. I've tried various kinds in store, read many, many reviews, and kept an eye out for deals. I was really hesitant to drop $300+ on headphones, even if I needed them for work. But after reading the various reviews, I started to convince myself that I might regret getting the more affordable low end headphones, as they tended to have issues with comfort, durability, sound, or noise-cancelling. So I was debating between these and the Bose. Best Buy put these on sale, so I broke down and got them. I can't believe how much of a difference they make in the office, at home, or on the plane. No more distractions, no more background noise. On top of that, the sound is great. If you are deciding between these and the Bose, everything I've read suggests that the Sony have better sound and the Bose are more comfortable. I think that's a pretty fair assessment. The Sony headphones have a downloadable app that allows you to control the sound of the headphones, which is great. You can really adjust it to the type of music or audio that you are listening to. The sound is rich, with a deep bass and clear treble. In terms of comfort, my ears do tend to get warm under the leather cans after wearing them for a while, but it is something that I got used to. If you are on the fence, you really can't go wrong with this product.

The king!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the CQ35 a couple months back and it felt like it was missing volume all the time, then Sony Came in a just made the best noise canceling headphone all around! The app lets you do so much finally an app that you can actually control your headphones! The features are just an add on, even with all the advance features these headphones are top of the line! The battery life is completely amazing as well!

Great For Travel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these mainly for travel. Very comfortable and when not in use I can leave on neck. You can also calibrate your surroundings for example in a plane to give you best sound experience. Keeps out the noise and pressure of airplane cabin. I can also cover one ear cup and hear my surroundings or just leave it on. I will never miss any snacks and drinks again. Also stores well with case.

Not as comfortable as Bose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried both these & Bose 35ii, and wound up returning the Sony in favor of Bose. While the Sony ARE excellent, the device’s auditory feedback cues were more distracting than the Bose’s, and the Bose were noticeably more comfortable. You wouldn’t go wrong with either, though.

Solid cans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable, noise cancellation is top notch. Like the ability to control volume, skip songs , and pause music by swiping on right ear piece. Expensive though.

Excellent headphones. Worth the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research on Bluetooth sound cancelling headphones. Went into Best Buy and tried them all. These are by far the superior cans. Fits perfectly over head, app on phone is intuitive, noise canceling is spot on. Only issue I have is working out at the gym with them. I do, but they get sweaty and I worry about usage over time. But you’ll get that with any over the ear headphones.

Best Headphones I’ve Ever Owned!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve probably purchased over 30 pairs of headphones in my lifetime and these are hands down the best of them! The noise-cancelling is awesome and the app allows you to tweak the sound and control your music. I’ve worn them for hours at a time without discomfort. I’m flying to Orlando in a month and look forward to using them on the plane. For now, I believe my money was well spent!

Excellent Noise Cancelling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones provide excellent noise cancelling for air travel. They are comfortable, have clear sound, and allow a temporary swap to ambient sound by touching and holding the right ear phone. My only complaint is the AUX cable was stiff and didn’t provide any flexibility at the connector, so the cable was damaged while plugged into a plane jack on the arm of a aisle seat. With people going into and out of the row of seats, and people walking down a cramped aisle, the cable broke on the first trip I brought them on. It’s a standard cable though and is replaceable.

Great Headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice headphones. Eliminates sound to a great extent. Such controls are pretty cool. There's an app to control your mids and bass. Won't go wrong with this one.

Best in market right now!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s May 2018 and the market is flooded with wireless noise cancelling headphones, but this one takes the cake. With sound quality rivaling Bose, better noise cancelling, and comfort for extended use, this headphone set stands above the rest of you’re in this price range. The hinges do feel a bit more delicate than others, but if you treat them kindly you should have no issues.

Very nice headphone with noise reduction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in the audio industry and have maybe 20 other headphones with noise reduction. I wanted to try this model as compared to other brands. I have to say that I thought the audio and noise reduction was very good and maybe better than another major brand that gets the most attention. The only thing I do not like is that if there is no audio source attached it will turn off after several minutes. I like to read on a plane but have the benefit of a noise reduction headphone. I learned to plug in the cable and shut down the volume to the source to keep the headphone on.

Great Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.sound quality is great. difficult connecting to my Ipad and when brought to the store there were 5 staff there trying to help me and finally were able to get it to connect. Still will not connect with my laptop like it says it will. That is very disappointing.

High Quality High Cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The noise canceling is excellent especially on a plane. Battery lasts quite a while. The over the ear material is nice and soft but like most over the ear headphones it can get a bit sweaty after a while of prolonged use. The phone app is cool to use with the headphones. That's a first for me. Some adjustability but I think the app is more for show as s cool little toy.

Bought two
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially bought myself a pair because I knew I had long flights coming up. I loved these so much, I bought my wife a set. These are absolutely incredible. The battery life is no joke. I still have yet to recharge the set after two direct 8-hour flights. They are incredibly comfortable and the 3.5mm line in cable is handy if your flight has in-flight entertainment.

awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've had assorted 'ear listening devices', cheap earbuds, good earbuds, cheap noise canceling headphones, good studio monitor headphone, etc. I spent the money and purchased these 100% due to a recent office move/change. IE moved into same room as boss and 4 other co workers. It took all of 2 days of listening to the boss read his emails outloud, talk to himself, and other BS that was distracting me from getting my own work done. This Sony set was 100% worth the price of admission... I was a bit worried based on other reviews that I would still hear the chit chat but I put them on with music softly playing and I dont hear anyone in the room talking, phone calls, keyboards clicking.. nothing!!!! The first couple days I noticed a little bit of pressure on the top of my head from the headband, but that isn't as noticeable now. I can wear them pretty much all day and they aren't too warm, and they remain comfortable. I'm less stress/exhasted from having to try and tune out the 'noise'. I wore them at home mowing the grass one night and they they cut down the mower noise by probably about 80%, but they were too warm, so I'll keep using earbuds for now for that chore. I love the 'touch' control features too... If you need to tune out an annoying boss or co workers, you want these!!!

Worth It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially went in to buy the Beats Studio 3 which were on sale for $249. The top 3 noise canceling headphones are Bose, Beats & Sony. The Sony's were on sale for $299 all things considered I felt the Sony's were worth the extra $50. Without a doubt I feel the Sony's are the best headphones available. The ease of use alone makes them superior to the other contenders. The sound is excellent. I made this purchase because I have a long commute to work on public transportation. There are days I'm just not interested in hearing "It's Showtime!!", "I'm raising money for my team", "Does anybody have...?" or random personal conversations "It's still oozing, the cream didn't work" 1. To silence the headphones you merely have to cup the right ear to let in sound. 2. You can control the device without pushing any buttons. Swipes up, down, back, forward and taps control the Volume, Skips, Replay, Pause and Answer the Phone. 3. The headphone app allows you to optimize the noise canceling. Which means you can adjust it for every location. You can also adjust the Surround (VPT) based on location. The options are Arena, Concert Hall, Club, and Outdoor Stage. My only complaint is the ear piece could have been made more comfortable. I find myself adjusting them after an hour.
