These headphones are the best I've ever owned. I was skeptical about the price since it's so high, but trying them at the store for the first time, was amazing. They really were different sounding (in a good way) than all the others that were on display. The sound quality and build is amazing.

These are quite literally the BEST headphones I have ever had. These and the original 1000x's are phenomenal, and I plan on upgrading to the M3s soon! Every upgrade is better than the last. You can literally listen if you want to, and it's honestly such a power move. Try them out in store!

Great sound and good at blocking outside noise. Not quite as comfortable as the Bose Quiet Comfort. The feature for cupping the right headphone to hear outside sounds, as well as the gestures for volume up/down, are handy and helpful.

I love the noise cancellation. The only issue is if you lean your head against the side of plane (window seat) you get some noise. If you can rest straight ahead, you are fine. Works great as telephone connection. Overall, better than the Bose in my opinion. The app helps with sound preference.

I went in to get the Bose headphones of similar price and quality but left with these because they were on sale. The difference in the store was unnoticeable and I liked the look of these. I use them daily at work and they have been amazing to help cut down on the ambient noise in the office.

I bought these prior to a trip. I was on a plane with several young children crying, noisy, etc. While I could still hear them it was very faint and therefore these were a godsend. I love the hold your hand over the right side feature. It was great when the flight attendants came around

This model is one or the best in the market, the Noise Canceling is amazing, like the new ones 1000XM3. Its made of plastic like most of them and has the old USB connection (not USB-C). Beside this the price on Black Friday (US$ 199,00) was a no brainer. Highly recommended!

My faves. Does everything well. Great on a plane. It would have been nice to have the USB-C charging port because the micro USB is a little flimsy for this size device. Still, it wasn't worth an extra 100 bucks in my opinion.

These are for my son and he is completely satisfied with these headphones. He said they are awesome.

What a fantastic noise-canceling headphone. I wish they could make them more comfortable. There is more clamping on these headphones. They are very well built. You have to download their app and can change your equalizer. I will purchase their next noise-canceling headphones.

These are the best headphones I have ever used. They are perfect for long flights, for they cut out all background noise to give you the best listening experience. They also constantly monitor whether you are moving or sitting to also help give you the best listening experience.

I love these headphones! I own the new bose q35 noise-canceling headphones. and I picked these up more! way better noise canceling, and the sound was amazing. loved and used the palm feature to hear whats going on outside. this is coming from someone who used to only buy Bose.

I bought these to replace a Sony pair I wasn't very happy with. These were definitely an upgrade and improvement and I am now very happy. They are great to travel with. I now wonder how I was ever on an airplane without them!

This is my second pair that I purchased for my wife. I love the sound and the noise canceling is amazing for travel. They seem large but fit well. I specifically use these on trips when the noise of the airplane or others can be distracting.

I would recommend these headphones to anyone. My primary purpose was to use it as a studying tool and media (movies on laptop/tv when everyone is sleeping) device. Works like a charm esp the noise cancelling. Have actually missed someone ringing the bell because of this.

I've tried these and the Bose side by side and these clearly win in terms of sound. The noise cancellation is equal to Bose, but the ability to mute it and hear by touching the outside of the earpiece is a clear upgrade, as well. Fantastic product.

I took a long time to decide between the popular two big name brands in headphones... But I made a pivot when I went instore and tried the 1000XM2’s... What sold me on Sony is the adaptable sound, extra features i.e. cover for ambient sound, and durability.

I tried 2 different noise canceling headphones before finding these, and they are by far the best. They don’t give an audible buzz as a noise canceling background headphone sometimes does, it’s just silent. And the sound and clarity is unmatched! Great product.

I bought this headset in November, 2017 and have enjoyed using it with all its features. This past week though, I found it breaking apart after only 6 months of use. The plastic parts on the left and right hand side of the headset have began to break off. I called Sony customer service only to be told that the physical damage is not covered under warranty, and their resolution was an offer to purchase a discounted headset. After paying $375 for this headset, I didn't find this to be a satisfactory option. I was expecting Sony to replace the plastic parts that have broken off, most likely due to poor workmanship/cheap parts as I am a careful with my products, especially when i pay such a high amount. Potential buyers beware: the plastic components can break off and Sony doesn't care to offer a satisfactory resolution.
