I bought this receiver as a replacement for the previous one and was really impressed with the sound.

My old one recently burn out after 15 years, so thos is an excellent replacement at a great price

Great receiver, tons of A/V connections, sounds is very deep and crisp; 4k pass through is on point!

This system works very well with a large room, the Bluetooth feature is nice for playing Sirius radio threw your phone, very ease to set-up, you still get a great picture when running the HDMI inputs however it would be nice if they could make it so you could pair it up with wireless speakers.

This unit checks all the boxes. Had to upgrade from an older more expensive Sony receiver to take advantage of the ARC HDMI port and 4K comparability. Happy with it but need to fine tune the audio, finding that part difficult and all sources it pulls from seem to have different sound levels.

I previously owned a Sony STR-SE581 circa 2000. I've been waiting to upgrade for a long time and I finally found a good deal on black Friday. It's a great amp, and the included mic balances the speakers very well. But there are some minor problems with the mic not working a couple times. Also, the Bluetooth function does not pair that easily, I have to unplug and replug the amp for the Bluetooth to pair with my phone.

Top notch receiver!! Purchased as an upgrade to my old Sony Receiver. Great quality and controls.

For what I paid I really like this receiver. I replaced a Yamaha RX-V575 that had a few features this doesn’t have, but it wouldn’t pass an HDR signal or 4K at 60hz. This receiver has built in BT which is nice and even though I only have inexpensive speakers the sound is great!

Picked this up for my basement home theater setup. Works great. Couldn’t beat it for the price.

High wattage at a low price. And it's a Sony. Easy to hook up and easy to learn how to use.

Our new home came with 5 speakers in the ceiling. We needed this receiver to have the TV sound come out of the speakers. What a difference having the TV on with the overhead speakers as opposed to just the speakers in the TV! My husband said it was not hard to set up and figured it out quickly.

One of the excellent product which I have purchased. Setup was easy. Whenever a device paired is active the device turns on from standby. Ideally no need to even use the remote control. Excellent sound and performance. Transformed to totally a home theatre. So far good and totally satisfied.

I bought this amp to add to an existing home theater system. Wanted an amp with HDMI feed through and to update an older amp easy set up and it works nicely with all Sony products. Would have liked this amp to have an additional outlet on the back for other accessories.

A must to go with my new 4K TV. Make sure to get 4K cables as well, it does make a difference

Setup was a little tricky, but I was prepared for that based on the reviews. Sound is great.
