This receiver is in my family room and my iPhone connects via Bluetooth so I can use my surround sound. It's so easy to set up and use. Very glad I made this purchase over one that didn't have Bluetooth.

This reciever has a really great sound. Hooks up to 7 speakers and several hdmis. However if your TV is not ARC compatible you will need a digital optical cable should buy one before you leave the store

Purchased on sale to put in my office for a basic TV surround setup. Not a bad choice for what I paid. Good sound and moderate power which is all I needed. Feature packed for the price.

purchased all sony components.. TV, Blu ray, and the receiver. they work well together. the performance and sound is clean and the price is very reasonable. i’m very satisfied.

For my setup with my new 4k TV and game console, this works wonders, one central master control that just works great. Fully compatible and easy to use. NFC is a plus! Highly recommended.

Good sound out of the box. Calibration mic sets speaker distance well. Good remote. Could use more bass and treble adjustment on the eq.

This meets all my needs works great for all movies and tv shows and great for fm stations, DVD's Bluetooth works great . I'd highly recomend this 7.1 surround sound unit

This is a great Home A/V Receiver for the beginner or the more serious Audiophile. I would have rated it 4-1/2 Stars, but that wasn't an option. For the 'price', it is about unbeatable. You get both Sony quality and dependability and Sony's traditional superb sound reproduction.

I love this receiver. 7.2 channel, 4K and 3D pass. Very simple and basic receiver. Wished that it had more information and detail in the manual book. The rest of it is at sony web site.

Excellent quality for the price. Plenty powerful for the floor-standing speakers and subwoofer in my system. I have everything electronic running through this central unit.

We were upgrading from a 5.1 to a 7.2 digital output. This was the less expensive model but I have been very pleased with the sound quality and performance. It is a great value.

Primarily bought this receiver because it included built in Bluetooth for a good price. I love the options and the sound is incredible. Pair it with a 4K TV and you’re all set.

My old receiver died, so I needed to replace it. Did not really care much for the Onyko receiver I had. Had Sony receivers before, so went into Best Buy to see what they had. This receiver was on sale at almost a $150 dollar savings. Bought it and it is everything I was looking for.

I used to have Sony A/V Receiver years ago when I was married to my first wife and have a lways wanted one since. Well 15 years later when I finally got a chance I jumped !!!! And man let me tell you what , Not only am I ever glad as peach I did!!!!! This piece is no joke. It may take a little extra spending in cables to get the best but holy sky is it worth every red cent my friends!!! You got plenty of presets , lots of depth , and if you have the rest of the right equipment you will have plenty of volume for the neighbors!!!! They love me again!!! HAHAHAHA!!!! YA RIGHT!!!! YOU HAVE TO GET THIS PIECE AND ENJOY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome sound, easy set up! Has everything you need to produce or create your custom sound. It works great with my boss speaker and my definitive speakers. For the price as well!

highly recommend, very easy to set up, and the sound is fantastic, highly rich in bass tones, and when set up with seven speakers, you will feel like your at a concert

Good price, easy setup, love the HDMI inputs. Only complaint is the owners manual doesn't do a real good job explaining the bypass setup. I had to go online to learn how to set it up.

This receiver is a very good value with 2 sub woofer hook ups. It was easy to set up and has an auto shutoff when not in use - great for saving energy and avoioding over heating.
