this receiver has made everything much easier to control with all the features. it has plenty of hdmi ports and the bluetooth app is great.

Handling everything so far - just purchased. Would be nice if it had a power outlet to hook other stereo related items into like our old system had so we could use one less power remote for things it can't control.

Its ok .The 7 speakers is good ,the display is good the connection for the blu tooth is the best feature it has and the power is ok but for the price it should be better should have wireless rear speakers should be able to see your photos with blu tooth capability on the tv screen

Overall great item, however it does not fully function with a Samsung TV which uses the One Connect. Since you have to use the Optic cable instead of individual HDMI's the set-up does not function as explained.

I bought it for a Christmas present for my sister. I tested it & it works but I don't have all she does. I will update this after Christmas. I do have have the Strdh-550 & it has been working great since March 2017.

Great product for the price, low end price but exceeded my expectations. Sony quality continues.

I purchased this unit to replace my old Sony receiver that did not have any HDMI connections. First off the unit DOES NOT have a pre-amp so my Dual turntable has very little volume (Yes, I still play vinyl). Easily fixed with the purchase of a pre-amp. Being able to run all of my HDMI items and controlling them through the Sony is wonderful. Plus the receiver has Bluetooth so I can pair my phone to the receiver and play any music through my phone. Price was good and it works seamlessly with my other Sony gear!

I purchased this for my basement audio system. I needed and extra receiver to power gameroom speakers. This receiver does the job! It connects via Bluetooth to my iPad and I can stream music without problems. Only drawback is the range of Bluetooth is about 15-20 feet due to a wall in between. I have to leave the iPad in the same room as the receiver- annoying as if you need to change the music, you have to walk back to where the receiver is. Sound quality is very nice.

My Denon receiver lacked the decoding, so I got this based on price and features. It works fine, but shuts off on its own if system is paused for a relatively short time. Tried troubleshooting steps but didn’t resolve the issue, so we just turn it back on.

Good low end receiver amplifier. I installed speakers on my patio and in the family room. Bluetooth works well and the FM receiver.

This Sony receiver was easy to install, makes my old speakers sound good again, and I can hook up more things than I have room for.

I found this receiver to be a great value. It is exactly what I needed to connect all of my multimedia components. It sounds Great!

I bought this as an upgrade from the 750. I needed HDCP 2.2 support for 4k HDR content. Basically the same receiver as the old one and still not disappointed at all. Makes for an amazing home theater experience.

Upgraded to this reciever when I bought my speaker. Was an excellent choice. Lots of options and easy to set up. Worth the price

This unit packs considerable punch for such a reasonable price. There is plenty of power and channel separation is excellent. Several different settings for music only as well as video choices. Includes a pure, direct mode if you don't care for processing. My only negative is that adjustments can only be made using the HDMI connection to the television. No dials for adjusting treble or bass or setting up without a subwoofer. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend it as an excellent entry into multi-channel sound.

System sound great with 2 subwood connections instead of one on some apm. Easy to use and you can't go wrong with Sony brand.

Easy to set up and use. Blue tooth was a great plus can control stations like pandora and volume from outside the house.
