My new 4K Blu Ray played needed a new receiver to play 4K so bought this one. Great receiver. Easy set up.

There are not many options for 4k at this price so what this receiver lacks in options, it makes up for in picture quality. The knock I would give against this unit is that there aren't too many different sound fields to use so when you're watching a movie sometimes you get loud sound but quiet voices...The picture is really nice though. Sometimes on blu ray it surprises me how clear the picture actually is; might be the tv but I'm sure the receiver has a part to play.

Was easy to hook up. Has all the features that I needed. Great for price class.

The ease of set-up had my surround sound up and running in minutes. Has every feature needed for a great price!

I can't speak to the long term reliability of this unit, but so far it has performed well with no issues. I wanted a solid receiver that wouldnt break the bank and this one fit the bill. It has several nice features for the price such as all 2.2 HDMI inputs, the speaker connections that accept banana plugs (honestly I can't ever see buying a receiver that doesn't accept banana plugs), and Bluetooth input. For the money, I don't think you can find a better unit.

For the money, I have a high end receiver for half the cost.I can hook up everything I need to have quality sound

This receiver is great for the price. It produces great sound and had plenty of power per channel.

Good receiver, setup was straight forward. Sound quality is pretty good, but not as good as my ONKYO receiver

I really like my music but with the flat screen TV sound is a problem. My old receiver went out and I needed a new one fast. This is a really good receiver for music, CD's and a tuner. The TV and DVD player must have a HDMI cable and to do this it would take and additional cash. I purchased the best I could afford but I wish it would be louder for the television. CD's and Tuner 5 stars every day. Still good and would recommend if you don't have a large budget.

Have this hooked up to my 4k tv, 4k blurry player, and sony surround sound. Sounds great

This receiver is easy to set up and easy to use. It far exceeds receivers from a few years ago. Very good value.

I bought this to go with a new Sony tv that I recently bought and to replace my old Onkyo receiver. Since the tv and receiver are both Sony products, they link up perfectly and play through a Yamaha speaker system. TV sounded great but when I played music through the system...what a difference. It sounds amazing compared to my old receiver. I don't know if the Sony actually does anything or if it is just in my head, but it works for me. I'm thrilled with it.

I upgraded our old receiver for this one. This has great qualities such as Bluetooth, HDMI, and easy to use.

Hooked this receiver up to existing surround speakers and it sounds great, easy hook up and connections.

I purchased this receiver to replace an older Sony model that does not have the ability to pass through 4k HDR video. Easy to set up and connect, great sound for the money, works well (mostly) with my new 4k TV. Minor glitch: Sometimes the video signal goes black for a very short time. Since this is the only component of my home theater system that I changed, I am reasonably sure that the behavior is rooted in the receiver.

The Sony receiver was easy for us too hook up and proves to be a great component for out new 4K TV.

I bout this receiver to power my surround sound Polk Speakers. Great value and a great receiver. And I love that it connects to my phone by Bluetooth very easy. I would recommend!!!
