My only qualm with this project was setting it up to work correctly with the Harmony Elite remote. Had to have Geek Squad come out and tweeka bunch of settings to work correctly.

This is not my first Sony tv. Have had a smart tv since they first came out. The color depth and brightness are amazing with my new tv. Would recommend Sony and Best Buy to anyone.

My 18 year old amplifier quit and after some research, decided on this unit for features and price. All my devices feed through this unit and that feTure is good. When I turn off the tv, the amplifier also turns off automatically. That is a nice re is a microphone for automatically setting the six speakers which worked fairly well. I have had to manually adjust the center speaker but it works well. I really like this unit.

Great middle of the road 4k receiver and good price. Awesome sound and clarity. Using remote to activate and control other components is a little confusing but do-able. Very important to Make sure your speaker wires are connected correctly with no frayed ends or lose connections. Otherwise receiver will shut down under "protection mode" . Good buy so far.

I bought this receiver after my previous one broke. The sound is great and the setup was easy.

Great receiver I love Sony products but I have not been able to get it all set up to work with my TV and Blu-ray player not much of a menu or instructions on how to use the menu.

I have read great reviews about this Sony receiver. I love that it had optical inputs as well as the usual speaker wire inputs, enabling me to connect even more of my components.

Overall it is great....good quality, good sound. Doesn’t play as loud as we hoped though...

The way the wires connect to the system is poorly thought out - several knobs about a 1/2 inch apart from eachother where you have to wrap the wires around the shafts and screw in the knobs. If not done completely correctly, there is a "PROTECTOR" setting that shuts the system off if the volume gets too high as a result of "faulty wire connections that could damage the system". I haven't gotten around to fixing the wires yet, but the volume can't be higher than 25/100 without shutting down. You get what you pay for, as always.

Saw it on sale, read reviews, talked to sales person, baught it. Super easy setup, grat sound.

Bought on sale for $200. Easy to install with great features. Bought as replacement and it fir in well.

Very good sounding receiver and the sale price was great. built-in Bluetooth was a great bonus.

Started off great, although there are a ton of settings and no real manual explaining how to use all the features and mode. Frustrating, but we still figured it out. It then would randomly not show the video, though the audio would work. Had to unplug it and set it back up each time. Then a black bar of information would stay across the bottom of the tv screen. Turn off then back on, cleared. Now black bar stays and there is no audio passing through to tv even if Sony unit is off. Only way to hear tv is to have Sony on. It is now unplugged and not being used. Tv and sat work fine with out it, just no surround sound now. Hopefully this is covered under warranty! 100% not recommended product.

Bluetooth is awesome no delay, produce great sound on two small bookshelf speakers

Sounds great hooked up to Bose Acoustimass speakers and using all HDMI inputs.

Love this receiver. Great theater surround sound. State of the art features. Master DTS audio support.

The bypass for 4K and 3D are 2nd to none. The sound is out of this world with the right speaker setup

The receiver does the job well. My son needed a receiver for his apartment and after reading lots of reviews, we chose this one. It has great features and was a nice price.
