Great amp, software not so much

Good Basic 7.2 speaker system

Do not place them on the ground near outlets and electrical cords or will not be recognized. However when system is readjusted, works real well. 7.1 really opens up the sound field over 5.1 systems. Like the self calibration. Not all information and settings are shown on the TV and must use small display. Worth the price.

Exceeds Expectations

The ratings were good for this Sony unit so I took a chance and purchased it. I must say that 2months later it's still working great and has exceeded my expectations. Excellent unit and great service by Best Buy! Thank you!

Great sound - remote is a challenge though.

This is a but challenging to install, but after I got it all up and running the sound is great! I do have so issue with the limited options on the remote for controlling your SOUND options, but it works fine and I hope it lasts a long time!

Great Sound with good speakers

I bought this on sale to see how well it worked. First surprise was only two of my old speakers would work so speakers put at the top of my wish list. Every speaker made the sound better, fuller and richer, now with all 7 including a big sony woofer, movies never sounded so good

Great Receiver for the Money

I only needed 5.2, but opted for this 7.2 system because it had Wi-fi and Bluetooth capability. The centrer microphone makes it easy to balance the sound in the sytem. Set up was pretty easy and it sounds and works great.
