This 7.2 receiver is a great choice for my Klipsch setup of 2 rsw-10 subs, towers and R-14M bookshelf spkrs. It has more than enough settings but still learning them. Can’t wait till I get 2 more surrounds to have a 7.2 system. Completely satisfied

Never have I had an easier time setting up my speaker location and different components so easily. They provide a mic with a very long cord that you put where you will be sitting. You press start, 30 seconds of tones, and voila! It’s set up perfectly. Great product!

Using as amp and surround sound. Not enough RCA plugs if your into cassettes and CD's.

I bought this as a replacement for a stereo system but find that using it to enhance the TV sound is great. I was not thrilled having to go to and print a number of pages of instructions from the web site (PDF would be nice). Will add surround sound speakers later this year.

To keep up with the way technology is changing for audio and video, I needed to replace an old amplifier/receiver to match a 1080 flat screen TV and Blue-Ray disc player. This home theater receiver had all the specifications I needed to make the transition at a great price point.

I bought this to use with speakers from my Onkyo 7.1 surround sound sytem that had a receiver that just quit. I first tried a 5.1 receiver but when this Sony receiver went on sale I had to try it. It was a huge improvement. I would highly recommend this for the sound quality alone.

I purchased this a couple of weeks after I received my new Sony 4K TV. I had an older Sony 7.1 receiver but wanted to upgrade and I'm glad I did. I stuck with my Boston Acoustic speakers and sub woofer and the sound is incredible. This is an excellent product for the money.

I got this receiver to replace my decade old and failing Sony receiver. It was a no brainer as it was truly simple to set up and within a very short time we were enjoying full rich sound again. Combined with the Sony 4K Blu Ray player and 4K TV and yea, we are really happy.

Was not sure what type of receiver to purchase for my husband and wanting this to be a good surprise for him. I saw some super good reviews on this receiver and am very pleased with it. Need to purchase either the shelf speakers or floor speakers with it. Very good sound.

Came from an outdated receiver, can use for all my devices. Easy to set up and run.

I'm no audio snob, so maybe I'm missing something, but why would anyone pay 3x as much for another receiver with similar features? The sound quality when hooked up to our in ceiling speaker system is fantastic and everything just works as you would expect.

Bought this to upgrade and replace my 10 year old Sony 7.1 Receiver. Wanted to have the DTS-MA and TrueHD decoding functionality that my previous receiver did not have due to being older, and to also get rid of the RCA/Optical connections and go all HDMI. No complaints.
