Set up was a snap. Used with Sony TV & DVD payer. They work seamlessly together

Works as expected. Very easy to use. Sales person helped us find the right one to fit our needs. Didn't try to sell us something more expensive that we didn't need. I had no idea what I was buying. I just knew the one we had went out. Great customer service experience.

It probably took me about 30 minutes after reading direction and having the right cables. It produced a great sound and I use only 1 remote to control everything from directv, bluray player,and game console. Plus the receiver was on sale is a big plus.

I bought this after upgrading my aged-out home entertainment stuff to 4K. I've owned two other Sony receivers over 17 years and they worked flawlessly...the only reason I parted with either was to upgrade. This one went two months without a problem when, out of the blue, it stopped letting a consistent signal from my PS3 pass through (no video or sound). After hours of troubleshooting I took it to Best Buy and they confirmed the issue. It was sent off for repairs but the repair facility could not duplicate the problem. They sent it back after a fresh factory data reset but when I got it back the problem remained. Sent it back a second time but, once again, the repair facility said they could not find anything wrong with it. I just don't understand what happened. I tried everything: factory reset of my TV, complete reformat of the PS3, different cable and bypass combinations, I even bought a new receiver of a different brand which I still have and is working beautifully. Everything pointed to an issue with this receiver but there was no obvious cause. I parted with the Sony and kept the other one.

I was looking for a lower-end receiver that was relatively future-proof and could be the center point of my system. I am probably like most in that, I won't consider myself an audiophile but I wanted something that would work well and sound good.

It seems to do what I want it to do. Hopefully it will stand up for awhile.

This Sony Home Theater Amp is well worth the price and love all the HDMI ports.

Thanks to the hdmi inputs and outputs and on screen menu the setup is was no problem. Anytime you can remove cables it's a good thing. I haven't watched 3D on my Panosonic TV since adding the receiver, but all other picture and sound is clear without distortion.

Performance is up to par with our expectations. We are happy with the product.

Good sound lots of features. The pass thru works well

If you are looking for a lower priced unit, that produces good sound, this is a great option. I have loved Onkyo in the past, but have had 2 units burn out their video processors for the HDMI so had enough with them. Tried Sony, and very pleased.

Adequate for a smaller home theater. Only one hdmi output, and 4 inputs.

I purchased this item to upgrade my system from a 5.1 to 7.2 capability. The system works fantastic in conjunction with the rest of my components connected to it. I would recommend this receiver and any other Sony products being considered as a connected component.

Everything works but not easy to adjust bass, treble instructions not understandable

I bought this receiver out of box. It was in the price range I was looking for...Easy to set up for my surround sound speakers and tv. Easy to link from our phones for spotify playlists. Easy set up with the tv. All in all, pleased with this purchase.

Very happy with this product. For the value and for my needs I am very happy. Very easy to install and use. Hooked up bluetooth to phone and TV and we can get music in the yard and inside and enjoying our new system!!

Bought this receiver to hook up to my Polk floor tower speakers and Polk subwoofer and it works great. Easy installing with wiring to the back. Initial setup was a breeze and it walks you through the steps. Would recommend for any small sound system setup.

I LOVE this product. Blue tooth was a piece of cake. I use this for the sound system in my horse arena. I push pandora on my phone, and bluetooth on the receiver, and WALLOA I have great music for hours as I play with my horses and teach lessons. I LOVE it!

Putting this purchase together with my other purchases made a nice set up.
