The receiver is good, after setup properly. The automatic setup is less than steller. I couldn't get a great sound using that setup. Instead I did manual setup and suddenly my system sounded great! Time will tell quality and how the receiver lasts

Was half off for Black Friday and had to grab for the hdr passthrough

it has just enough hdmi inputs (4), and my older Harmony remote works well with it. My Wii still won't work with this unit, but that is probably the fault of the Wii, not the receiver. All in all, it works well, and does what I want.

Universal application for any room and the sound quality is amazing.

This is a great receiver for our first home theater system.We have our satellite TV, Blu-Ray Disc player, DVD player (so we can listen to CDs and listen and watch CD-Rs), and VCR playing through it and the picture and sound are great.

This amplifier is very powerful. It drives a 7.1 system very well. it even has a feature where you can play music from your iPhone wirelessly.This feature is set up automatically. Very nice. It has three HDMI inputs and one HDMI output.

We purchased a Sony 4K HDR smart television with this receiver and haven't been disappointed by it. There's an easy-setup mode that adjusts the levels of each speaker individually based on where you place the calibration microphone. Great experience.

Bought as a gift for a friend ... loves it and the price can’t be beat

This unit is perfect for an average sized living room. I was actually impressed with how clear the highs are and how deep the bass rumbles during all of my favorite action-packed scenes. I absolutely love this purchase. Money well spent.

This is extremely helpful with a TV / DVD / Gaming setup. You can plug all HDMI and cable cords into the stereo and only 1 HDMI cord into the TV so everything you watch and play is in stereo and there is 1 less remote to deal with!

I bought this model since it was a Sony and on sale. I have already spent hours using it. I love how everything goes through it with the HDMI cable, allowing me to easily switch inputs. My Dad had to help me install it but it wasn't hard at all.

Bought one 2 years ago, loved it. Great sound and separation. House got flooded and had to throw it away. Found it on sale on Black Friday and jumped on it. Haven't hooked it up yet because the house is still undergoing repairs. Can't wait!

Needed a new one and Sony is a quality product and it was on sale at Best Buy

Disappointed there were not bluetooth directions in the manual.

Love that I am able to have components, television and computer connected and access via computer and HDMI our stored digital musical library through USB, MP3 player and by way of the computer thru an HDMI connector. Excellent Product.

I have always been a fan of Sony receivers. And this receiver is no exception. It is by far the best one I have owned. The setup was simple and the ability to zoom in on your listening position really centers the sound focus directly for you.
