The best thing I ever bought for myself and ever had

I love my new Sony receiver. It is the best ever!!!!

I was looking for something compatible with my new 4k TV and other components, cable box, video game console and even cell phone. Boy, did I hit a home run with this product. Just perfect. Love the speaker setup feature.

Had a home theater installed years ago. When the receiver went out I thought I would replace it myself. It was easy and the store staff was helpful. Works great and sounds better than the more expensive original reciever

Great Receiver doesn't work with my iPod or sound bar

I am very pleased with my new Sony 1015W 7.2-ch.4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through A/V Home Theater Receiver! The sound quality is outstanding, and the price was very reasonable for such a high quality product.

This is a Great System! functionality and advanced circuitry are impeccable. However if you run your HDMI from you video source (Blu-ray, laptop, etc..) into the Sony Reciever and then output from sony receiver to display (TV, Projector, etc..) and no sound is playing the receiver automatically shuts down after 15 minutes... very annoying when surfing the web! so I just play some music in the background. only other thing would be that I am not completely sure 1015 watts is accurate. The sound so far is crisp clear and plenty but, I believe the "peak wattage" is misleading. but rest assured it definetly pounds! Oh yea! and mine came with French or Spanish instructions so maybe I missed something... seriously no English.. wth

I'm really happy with my Sony 4K reciever. My last reciever does not compare. This looks great and works great. My only complaint is I have to change it from tv to game everytime I turn it on but it's not a big hassle

It works well with my Sony 4 K TV. I couldn't get the auto set up to work.

I originally had the Sony STR-750 for 3 years before purchasing the Sony STR-770. The difference between the 2 is actually only one small minor detail. My original Sony STR-750 wasn't HDCP 2.2 compatible making it impossible to play newer 4K Blue-rays. This new "High Definition Copyright Protection" (HDCP 2.2) makes playing 4K content impossible unless all pass-through devices are HDCP 2.2 compatible. This means your UHD Blue-ray player, Stereo Receiver (if you have one), and your 4k Television. Hense why i bought the new Sony STR-770 Receiver. The only difference is that it is HDCP 2.2 Compliant. Make sure you are educating youselves on this stuff people before deciding to spend thousands of dollars on a home theater system.

This receiver has al the connections you would need to run you home theatre system. I am using it to push 2 klipsch r28f, 2 r15 m, center and 12in sub. the system sounds great and I have had no issues at all.

We purchased a new home and needed a receiver for the theater room that already had speakers installed. I read online reviews and chose this Sony home theater receiver. The sound is absolutely amazing!

Our surround sound works better than it has ever worked in the past. We actually hear birds chirping, phones ringing, or whatever the background audio is on the program we are watching. The sound is crystal clear!

Needed a modern reciever that i could swap in for my dated 5.1 box. This thing is easy to set up and was able plug my 5.1 speakers and it recognized that it was a 5.1 array. Adding speakers for full 7.2 in future.
