Has everything you need for a strong entertainment foundation - excellent quality, Bluetooth works w/o a hitch -only be aware the remote is not programmable and won't control other Sony products (that I have found yet) - Manual doesn't show how to set FM stations - just use the buttons on the receiver itself - have owned Sony receivers for 30 years and they always deliver!

My new house came with speakers installed and I could never get them to work. I went to my local Best Buy, and those guys are super knowledgable and helpful. They told me that I need at least a 5.1 surround receiver. That started my research, and I wanted to future proof my house as well. I came across a sale that was going on and snatched this bad boy. It has been pretty amazing so far. The fact that I can control the volume and everything if I use my HDMI port designated for receiver made it so much easier. Setup was super simple, and it was mostly plug and play. Anyone looking for a receiver with a budget of "I have 3 kids and I love tech too" would find this awesome for the price. It has tons of options and features that I haven't even explored all of them. But overall, I would highly recommend this product :)

Great receiver, easy setup with good sound, with Bluetooth connection!

Upgraded my 10+ year old Sony receiver with this one to go with my new Sony Bravia 4K TV, Sony 4K Blu-ray player, and PS4 Pro. It handles all devices flawlessly to include my Apple products. Ensure you have HDMI cables that are capable of transmitting HDCP 2.2 signals and you’ll have no problems with 4K content. I plan on keeping this receiver for the next decade or so.

Great buy at 199.99 holiday price. I've got this setup in 7.1 and works flawlessly. Great sound. Handles 4k content with no problem. Make sure you have 2.0 hdmi cables for quality. Check video settings on receiver if you're having quality issues.

Easy to setup and control. I bought this to tie into my sony tv. Took a bit to get used to it but seems like it will work out fine. This was replacing my Pioneer system which I did not want to replace but it was older and I was having issues with the TV and my bose system. It doesn’t seem to have the umpf that my pioneer had but the price for the bill

Bought this receiver for my patio and I couldn't be happier.... it's paired to 4 klipsh bookshelf speakers ...the sound is amazing for such a inexpensive setup!!!!!! Easy to use and relatively easy to set up.... a real winner for the price

I used to have a samsung all in one 7.1 surround/blu-ray player. This is definitely a solid upgrade from that. While it doesn’t have Dolby atmos, I don’t see anything it lacks from any of the higher up Sony units. Delivers awesome sound quality and control, perfect 4K video output, and came in way under my budget during Black Friday. Highly recommend.

Nice receiver, easy to set up helps with 4k hd clear picture.

Simple set up for me, just using a 5.1 speaker configuration. I used the auto-calibration mic thingy and that did an OK job, though it will need some further tweaking. But every thing else working perfect. Replaced an older Sony that didn't support the right level of HDMI for a DirecTV Genie setup that I just had installed. I'm happy with this unit.

This receiver has good power and produces great surround sound.

Got it on sale. Works great and it's clear. Bluetooth is great.
