It automatically adjusts to the input I move to and it will turn itself off once you've turned off your other devices. Sometimes I wish the delay to auto shut down was a little longer, but overall I'm happy with this purchase.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that even with reading over the instructions that came with it (multiple times), we still had some problems setting up the sub woofer we have. I had to go online and get other people's suggestions in order to get it to work.

The one thing I was not impressed with was the lack of ability or instruction to adjust speaker settings or turn of certain speakers as I was able to on the old receiver.
