It’s perfect if you want to have clear sound quality from you tv. Do not buy this if you expect a home theater system. It is not designed to shake your walls and annoy your neighbors. The sound quality is excellent and the system works great! If you use the original Sony tv remote the volume is indicated on the tv screen.

Had to upgrade to this model after purchasing an XBOX X. Everything works like a charm.

At the store, we had a choice between this model and the bigger and more expensive Sony sound bar (can't remember the version). However, this sound quality seemed better to me in store and at home I'm still glad I went with this one. A lot of inputs and outputs as well to allow many devices to be connected as well as your phone via Bluetooth.

The really nice thing about this is it integrates with the television real well. The sub-woofer is wireless which allows me to put it anywhere for that punch. The only thing I was not crazy about is the audio punch is not as good as my old tuner/subwoofer. But then again, I really never used it that much where with this it is seamless.

This sound bar adds so much to our tv. First time purchasing a sound bar and I am considering one for every tv in the house!

Overall a good Sony Soundbar for the price range. Has a lot of HDMI outputs and the ARC is a nice feature.

I found this easy to use and set up. The sound is good. Be aware that this does not pass through the dolby vision signal from a dolby vision enabled 4k player. I get around this but using the TVs optical output and have the player connected directly to the TV.

I got this to go along with the below average speakers on my new Sony 4K TV and Xfinity cable remote. This gives a significant boost in wattage and great sound to go with the great picture on the TV. Easy setup.

Sounds better if you hang it on the wall.if you put it to close to your tv it blocks your remote sensor.

Can also be used to stream misic, much better for the theater experience than the television speakers

The sound quality is great and very clear. We enjoy using this for our regular shows and movies, as well. It was a recommended to us by one of the associates and we're very happy he showed us many options at many price points and didn't try to sell us on the most expensive ones.

I went into store to get the Samsung curved sound bar but after comparing to Sony I went with Sony .

I tried Klispch and Polk and this sounder has greater frequency response, clarity and ease of use.

It's a great speaker for someone looking for good music, bass along with voice when watching movies. You can adjust the volume and bass from zero to ear bleeding music. Night mode is a plus, though not something I use frequently Three HDMI in sources with one HDMI out to the TV is great, especially since my TV only had 2 HDMI in, now I can transmit without having to changeover my HDMI cables. It will transmit the video through the speaker to the TV and the audio will play from the 2.1 speaker. The balance is great and wireless bass means less clutter. Issues: Casting with Google home is sometimes a pain. Tries to start my TV everytime I cast music, which doesn't make sense. To stop it from doing so, I have to disable the start TV on signal setting, which clearly negates the whole HDMI interaction feature. They should provide an option to choose whether we want it to start the TV when casting music, for all other purposes you can start the TV. Doesn't play well with my Samsung smart TV, don't know whose fault it really is. The sound doesn't come from my smart TV back to the speaker even though the TV supports ARC. For signals from outside to the TV it works OK, even though sometimes it is a pain to get it to send the audio to the speaker and I have to restart both my speaker and my TV a bunch of times to get it to work right. Rear surround speakers are 199$ each, or 299 for 2 speakers. It's definitely on the expensive side and the 2.1 system doesn't support any other speaker.

We purchased the soundbar to accompany our new tv and it is amazing!!! The subwoofer works wonderful to give movies that theatrical experience. The sound is clear and this was well worth the price. For the lower cost I was skeptical, but it has proven that it can hold its own and cost wasnt a factor.

I read many reviews on soundbars before getting this and researched them out. I wanted something that would work with my new 4K Samsung TV and simplify my PS4, Switch and cable HDMI connections into the sound bar and TV and this has done it with ease and amazing sound in my mid sized living room. LOVE IT!

With features such as Built in Chrome-cast, HDMI - ARC, Expandable Surround Speakers (Optional) this is a very good soundbar. Setup was easy with my SONY smart TV and also easy to setup with my Smart Home with Google.

Bought this with my TV and like that you can seperatly control it with a separate remote to adjust bass etc. It doesn't quit do the surround effect as a real surround system does but I forgive it because it sounds great. Like the additional features of Bluetooth with my iPod.
