We purchased this soundbar to compliment our purchase of a Sony Bravia 55" TV. TV's these day do not have the quality sound systems of the past because of the speaker size. This soundbar has made a huge difference especially with deeper bass.

I bought this two years after it was released. I loved the sound before and even love it more purchasing it on sale. Sounds great in my decent sized family room. It looks better laying down on a stand vs. when mounted on the wall.

This sound bar does the job. I like that it has the ability to connect to not just the TV but Blu Ray player using the HDMI cable. The Wi-Fi option is also a big plus. You can play music directly to it or even add additional speakers for surround sound.

This sound bar is perfect for a small to medium sized room. Very good value for the price.

I purchased a open box product. The box was a little dirty and the quick start guide was missing. Other than that it looked like it had never been unpacked. Really happy with the value I received. Really happy with the sound quality of the sound bar, very rich and crisp.

This was a great addition to my Sony TV. Looks good, but better yet it sounds wonderful.

After hearing the more expensive Sony model, I wasn't sure whether this would be sufficient--but it was more than sufficient. It had great sound, hooks up and works seamlessly with my Sony extended UHD TV, and, best of all, has great sound--whether music or voice.

It's is far better then my tv speaker and music sounds great. Only flaw is the connection does not always work when switching HDMI channels. I'm forced to turn it off and restart the speaker

We added this to our Sony tv and our tv room sounds like a small movie room! Love it!

I was looking for a good soundbar to purchase without spending a lot of money. This Sony soundbar fell right in line with what I was looking for. Reasonable price and excellent quality. What you would expect from a Sony product.

This thing rocks my apartment! The bass is nice and smooth and the balance is great!

I purchased this sound bar only 3 months ago and it has stopped functioning. I have tried the hard reset by holding down the vol - and power buttons. I have manually updated the firmware yet the issues persist. The sound bar will turn on but one of two things will happen: no audio will come out or the sound will come out but the audio wont be synched up with the video on the screen. On top of this, the system response time becomes very slow and the menu screen will not show up at all. This sync issue exists no matter what you are trying to watch on TV: streaming, cable, video games, all off sync. Troubleshooting the issues for the sound bar have also proved fruitless The only fix that I have found that seems to fix the issue is to return the product and avoid this line of Sony products. I will be following suit.

The system sounded great in the store. Once I got home and set it up there were challenges. I’m having issues getting the subwoofer correct or seeing the preferences for the bar on the tv screen since it is connected via optical jack.

This sound bar is great. Had a Samsung before and decided to get a Sony. Glad I did!

This Sony soundbar system makes watching tvshows/movies even better.

I think its better suited for 4k tv though. used on a older Visio.
