I had to upgrade my surround sound system and went from stand alone speakers to this sound bar w/woofer. It's perfect for what I needed for my Sony Bravia tv. We love to watch our favorite Netflix shows and movies. I highly recommend this sound bar.

I was so scared to get this. When the husband had mentioned it and asked if I wanted to get it I was super lost. Lol...i had no clue what it did and why we needed it. Now we use it everytime we turn our tv or games on. Lets just say it's always on.

Product is very good, sound quality is very good however changing to NETFLIX and/Or AMAZON Prime Videos sometimes the connectivity is lost and need to reconfigure or make adjustments.

Probably the best soundbar I've tried and since I need a soundbar, I really like it. The sub is underpowered and the drivers try their hardest on the bar, but it still doesn't hold up to a pair of nice, driven speakers.

Looking for some extra punch to go with my 70" Sony 4K. Can't comment on music quality as I only use it for TV audio. We are big action movie fans and the combination of the 4K TV and the Sony soundbar system really brings them alive.

This device was purchased to complement a Sony 55 inch smart 4K HDTV and has nicely done the job. The sound quality is very good and the setup was easy and seamless.

I really enjoy this Sony Sound bar! I returned 2 other sound bars that just didn't have enough bass in the sub. But this one has a lot of bass and it really sounds like you are in a movie theater. Works great with my new 4K HD dvd player.

I’m no sound guru but this replaced a surround sound system in my living room and sounds just as good. It’s 4k compatible as well which was selling point for me. I love this thing!

This is an excellent sound bar, while it is a little pricy the HDMI pass through make it well worth it. It saves you from using HDMI ports on your TV. Everything goes through the sound bar and it even works with my Bluetooth headphones.

If your like me and tired of straining to hear the tv or just want enhanced sound when watching action movies, then get this sound bar. It has a sleek and thin design that is not obtrusive but still functions great.

Purchased this sounbar to replace an aged Bose 321 system and because of the built in HDMI switch. Very pleased with setup and sound. Hooked it up to my 10 years old Panasonic Plasma and it works seamlessly with Viera. Highly recommend!

I was having trouble with the lip sync from an LG soundbar that was connected via Optical Cable. So this one caught my eye thanks to the three HDMI inputs, and it works like a charm. Can pass 4K signals through too!

I purchased this to go with my Sony - 60" TV based on prior reviews for the TV. The soundbar acts as a hub for the entire entertainment system and greatly improves the viewing experience! I would highly recommend this product.

This sound bar paired effortlessly with its subwoofer and with the Xfinity remote when using HDMI ARC input. The sound is much better than the TV's sound and the subwoofer has just the right amount of presence when needed.

Our problem is having the TV switch to the soundbar instead of the TV speakers. This is probably our problem that it does not go immediately to the soundbar without turning it off and on again.

I have the older version of this and this model is a down grade for sure. The bass is so quiet I thought it was synced at first. I returned this after a couple days as it wasn't worth the money.

Nice, simple sound system for a smallish area. Appreciate being able to hear what was muffled when it came only from the TV (high ceilings probably didn't help, but I love my high ceilings!).

I took a gamble and ordered this unit and didn't expect much since it had a 6inch subwoofer... boy was I impressed! This thing filled the room with clear theatre sound. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I purchased an "excellent" rated open box Sony HTCT800 Sound Bar. I connected it via the HDMI ARC channel to my Sony Bravia TV and while it would turn on when the TV was turned on, it would then turn itself off within 15 seconds. I spent 2 1/2 hours with 3 different Sony technicians who took me through all the settings over and over again, resetting the TV, consulting with Sony engineering, etc before concluding that the soundbar was defective and needed to be replaced. I contacted the Greensboro NC store where I bought it to exercise the "refund or exchange" option which according to the policy applies to open box items as well as new items. The manager explained to me that since I got "such a good deal" on it he could not do an exchange for a new one, which to me seems to contradict the stated Best Buy policy. It is very rare to find multiple open box items of the same product in a store, so it seems logical to read the policy as stating that if my "excellent" rated open box soundbar is defective, I should be able to exchange it for the only exchange possible, a new one. But rather than keep a long standing customer satisfied and doing the right thing, Best Buy interprets their policy in a way that is to their benefit rather than the customer's. They have the power to make the exchange to repay for the inconvenience of all the time spent with Sony and of my having to return the item to Sony now for repair, but they chose not to. Best Buy will get no more of my business.

I bought this sound bar for an upgrade I had a Polk Audio sound bar I upgraded to this one because it has better sound and better Bass and it matches my TV as I bought a Sony TV also
