This sound bar is perfect for what we need; we are not into very high tech. The sound quality is very good, not best on the market of course. I like the extra HDMI connections compared to most sound bars as I use this for my hub to connect other devices. Was easy to setup, connect, and get started with basic use. Looking forward to using additional features we have not fully explored yet.

The picture quality of the TV and the sound quality of the speakers are both very good; and the TV and speakers fit well in my newly designed entertainment center.

Got this primarily to extend early HDR Samsung TV capabilities since my TV only has one HDR enabled input. Have a Xbox One X, PS4 Pro and Roku Ultra all piped through. Works just okay–it’s a crummy user experience Switching inputs, but It serves its purpose. It’s just kind of annoying when it behaves a little erratically but I’m not sure if it’s the sound bar or the tv to blame. It sometimes responds slowly to input changes or doesn’t want to respond at all, but again–could be the tv or some configuration between the two although I feel as if I’ve trouble-shooter that avenue to death.
But it does put out great audio. I’m no audiophile, but it can get pretty loud (way louder than I will ever need this for our smaller living area) and we can easily leave the back door of our home open and pipe tunes into the backyard loud enough to adequately suit get together and small parties if needed. At the price paid, it was a nice (necessary for our 2016-era Samsung TV) upgrade over our older 300W Sony soundbar (that still works well and is mounted on TV in our bedroom).

I originally intended to purchase an LG sound bar because it was on sale and it would match my TV, but I decided to go with this one because it got better reviews and I have good experience with Sony. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. I would recommend getting a nice universal remote. Setup is kind of a PIA, but these things are always a pain to get setup. I ran all my devices via HDMI to the sound bar, and then one HDMI from the sound bar to the TV. I had to get an optical cable (which is not included), and I have some issues of switching sources where the TV just cuts out, sound works but no video; inconvenient, but minuscule. Just have to toggle the TV power. That's about the only reason I didn't give it 5-stars, but my rating would really be 4.5-stars if that were possible.

I haven't play much around to see all the features but so far it sounds great. From movies to games the sound is loud and clear. The Subwoofer packs a nice punch too. What I'm still trying to figure out is how to change or turn off the bluetooth without having to press the home button and change to tv on the screen. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

This is the first time I've owned a soundbar. I bought it to pair with my Sony x900f.
I really like how easy it is using the ARC port. Only one HDMI cable runs to the TV and everything else (blu ray player, console, streaming device, etc) plugs into the soundbar.
Despite this, you really need to go through all the settings to make sure you are turning on the HDMI ports to enhanced for the 4k content and some other things.
I had a problem where my netflix wasn't registering HDR content (through roku ultra) and it was because my HDMI port config for it was set to standard not enhanced / advanced. Once I set this the netflix HDR shows played in HDR mode.
I've had this a few months now and haven't had any issues. Watching movies such as Saving Private Ryan will really bump your house which makes the experience of watching a movie more fun.

Works well out of the box. Only Issa I have is deciding we’re to hang it in the tv wall mount. It will sound better attached above or below the tv. I had tried to plug a Samsung sound bar in the Sony tv, but it would not play. Lesson learned, I.e. only use components from the same company. Sound is great. Must have a woofer for good sound bar quality.

So glad I spent a little extra and bought this system instead of the lower model Sony. My previous sound bar system was a disappointment. This new Sony soundbar outputs quality highs & lows, and the subwoofer really brings the sound to life. So glad I went with this model.

Very easy set up. Several HDMI inputs for excellent audio and video quality. We have it set up in. 20x17 family room on a 52” 4K Vizio. The wireless sub rounds out the full sound. Surround sound is awesome on theirs unit. The voice enhancement feature is great at night, lowers the booms and crashes and enhances dialog.

Best quality soundbar that includes a subwoofer in this price range hands down. If you dont have room for a full Surround sound setup this is perfect for you. It has tons of features. Bluetooth and casting. It will blow you tv speakers away. Sounds like I am in s movie theater after setup!

the soundbar w/ wireless sub woofer was a great addition to our Sony tv. Looks great and connected very easily to my tv as well as my smart phone through bt. The reason for 4 stars is I am not impressed with it's overall volume loudness. It could be a little louder when turned up to 100%

I would rate this higher if the dialogue audio was better—maybe I didn’t calibrate it right—the audio sounds wimpy and not robust. The subwoofer is a beast—you’ll wake up the whole neighborhood on full blast. I like how it syncs seamless with the Sony Tv—WiFi capable—very responsive
