I went to the store to purchase a sound bar for a "65" inch set that I was planning on buying. After listening to the speakers on the "65", I realized that I didn't need the sound bar. I purchased the Sony sound bar for my "55" inch and I am certainly happy that I took the sales person advice. The sound bar changed my listening experience through the set and now it feels like I have surround sound.

Less wiring, compact, but yes good sound. Took me a few days to get use to the sound quality since I was using a high end Sony wired sound system, but got used to it and now loving it. Able to move around the subwoofer and be able to produce more base tone out of it by simple placing it close to a wall is priceless!!!

This sound bar produces the kind of sound that I wanted. it was easy to configure.

This was the best sounding sound bar in my opinion that was on display and below $500. I compared this in store to the Samsung and LG sound bars that were slightly less expensive. My only complaint is when the TV is left idle for awhile the sound bar will turn off and then needs the remote to turn back on. This may be an issue with the TV though.

I like the sound, wish it was louder than it is, but it's good for the bedroom.

sounds great, easy to pair devices to, works great with sony tv I paired it with and all bluetooth devices I use to stream music sound great. Able to tuck wireless subwoofer behind couch across the room to hide it and it still sounds great and doesn't miss a beat even though it's about 15 ft away from the bar.

This is a great sound bar for an apartment or small living room area. It has all the options and tech you want to manage your entertainment center with out spending too much on overrated (over priced) sound bars. Sound is great and well rounded for movies and Bluetooth connectivity makes it great for music.

If you don't have room for a room full of speakers, this sound bar is an excellent workaround. Good bass, high and mid-range. All the sound we need in our small living room. My wife asked if the neighbors had their loud music going again. I laughed and told her "no, that's coming from our house this time!" I was watching tv with my new soundbar. I would recommend this product.

I bought this sound bar because I was told it would work with my new Sony Bravia TV. I got it home and it has great sound, but would not sync. Here the model they sold me did not work with the model of TV I had. I returned it and the new sound bar, I think, has less quality sound - but works nicely with the TV. Overall it was great!

Sounds great, looks nice wall mounted. Set up was easy. I just wish it could be in standby and turn itself on, or be controlled by my sony TV remote so I could ditch the extra remote.

Was not what I expected at all! Wanted to get better sound out of my Sony 4k TV, but this Sony sound bar fell far short. On max volume (50), it is barely louder than the TV. I have tried everything to get more sound, with HDMI (ARC) from TV or from cable box makes no difference, nor did the optical audio cable either way. I have tried every sound setting on all devices and it just won't go louder. Wonder if it's defective or is that all it puts out. Seems like 300watts and $350 price tag should get me more sound. I will say that it does make the sound a better quality, just not very loud.

Pretty easy to install, but make sure you have a high speed HDMI (not in the box) if your TV does not have optical audio. The companion App for iphone is nice if not a bit clunky. Definite improvement over TV speakers. Sound fills the room. Sports mode is good. Voice is easier to hear.

This soundbar is the perfect addition to an HDTV setup. Not only do you get great sound for TV and movies, but the Bluetooth option means that you can enjoy music from your phone or tablet. Wireless subwoofer makes installation a snap.

The sound quality and ease in setting up the system blew me awsy

Since we have a Sony Bravia tv, we went with the sony soundbar. The wireless subwoofer is nice, but larger than we expected. The soundbar has sturdy "feet" and is very stable on a wood tv stand. We like using the Bluetooth to play our music that we stream from other equipment.
