Great receiver for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a simple radio receiver and amplifier that would connect to my good Bose speakers -- not for a home theater -- but to hear music from classical radio stations and my compact discs. It does not have Bluetooth capability but I purchased cordless headphones that use their own wireless system and I enjoy music in and near the room with the receiver and speakers and even upstairs and outdoors.

Good product, but lousy instructions

Don't get me wrong, it works great once I figured out how to setup it up. If you purchase this use the CD Rom for instructions and avoid trying to use the instruction manual. By the way I was a complete newbie when it came to receivers, but the cd rom and google helped me figure things out.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sony receiver for the money is a really nice unit..easy hook up,nice looking,good power...i just wish i would have done more checking/reading up in receivers before i bought,the only thing i don't like is the "clip style" speaker hook up on the back..my speakers i bought at the same time have the post style and are a much better hook up for your speakers,much better connection.

Easy hookup, sufficient power to speakers to provide great sound, and nice aesthetics. Initially went with a high end receiver, but returned it and chose this one. Am happy that I did.

He said it was easy to set up and sounds great. He also like the direct input for his phone so he can play Pandora.
