Great Stereo

Very nice stereo receiver

I have a "custom" multi-media center, with a laptop connected to this receiver and a pair of 60-watt Sony boofshelf speakers hidden behind our TV in a solid wood entertainment center. This receiver provides a great sound from these small speakers, whether watching TV, streming, or movies from my personal collection.

Good Receiver

My setup consists of book shelf speakers so I did not need a surround sound receiver. After looking at other reviews and knowing Sony's reputation I decided to give this receiver a chance. I am very pleased with the sound and capabilities this receiver offers. If you want a basic receiver you will not be disappointed.

Awesome Receiver

Replaced a 8 years old Devon which was a quality product itself. What a difference it makes. I used to think the speakers I had could use an upgrade. Not any more. The sound is crisp, clear, and radiates to all sets of speakers connected in other rooms. As an added benefit, the dimension is much smaller than a Yamaha and freed up space nicely.

Good value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a simple stereo receiver--no 7.1 channels, please, and this fits the bill nicely, at a nice price. Two cautions--first, I wanted EVERYTHING to be accessed by remote and everything is EXCEPT speaker selection. No idea why they left that off the remote. Second (not really Sony's fault), google search for "Bluetooth receiver" pulls this up. This receiver does NOT have Bluetooth built in.
