missed my daily music, this was easy to install and sounds good

We just wanted to set up our old stereo equipment and needed a new receiver. This works well with what he already had, the price was right and we're very happy. At first we didn't understand why the sound was off but then read the online review which disclosed that a pre amp was necessary to listen to old vinyl LPs. We got the $22 Best Buy pre amp and now it's perfect.

I am using this unit for the purpose of monitoring my CD burner during playback. It has plenty of power and works fine with the compact speakers I am using it with. The receiver is not that great with the supplied antennas. Probably would be better with external antennas. Not a problem for me as I am not using it for anything more than a monitor.

This is my second purchase of this unit to replace two old stereo receivers. If you don't need a super high end unit, but just something for the average sized room, the Sony is the best bang for the buck. Great sound and AM/FM reception (of course, it depends on where you live). I would recommend this receiver highly.

By today's standards this may not be the most technically advanced, but if you want an amplifier, FM stereo that can amplify a bunch of different devices to two sets (A and/or B) of independent speakers, this unit works well, is simple to set up and does the job.

I bought this for work, we use to have 3 radios playing at once,very annoying, now we have 1. Stereo works great, it is powering 10 6 x 9 speakers throughout the shop. I havent had this reciever very long so I can't give you info on of the other features, I haven't even used the remote yet, it does run warm, but it is also on for 9-10 hrs a day

ALL I WANTED WAS A STEREO RECEIVER-I DID NOT NEED A SURROUND SYSTEM OR ANYTHING EXTRAVAGANT FOR MY SHOP SO IT WAS A GOOD CHOICE

I bought this receiver to replace a previous Sony that I owned for about 12 years. I didn't need surround sound, or anything complicated. I just wanted a basic quality receiver for my home system. This unit was generally similar to the one that I previously owned. It was easy to set up, and use. So far I am completed satisfied.

I love Sony products this receiver is great with my bose sound system plus Bose 301 speakers that are connected to the Sony receiver

Best stereo reciever in this price range. Excellent for playing from a digital portable through the 3.5 mm jack.

I HAVE PURCHASED MANY SONY ITEMS AND STILL HAVE THEM AND THEY ARE WORKING WELL. GREAT PRODUCT AT A GREAT PRICE

Upon reading the reviews I purchased this receiver as an upgrade. I have not been disappointed with the performance.

I did not want any wireless receiver and I have had my system for a long time and I am glad that I could find what I wanted.

This receiver is just what I needed. The A/B switch works great and the the pre set stations are easy to use.

I was replacing an old receiver. It is used in the garage as a second system for my kids. This system fits my needs exactly.

Bought this to use for house parties in college - it’s awesome. Had beer spilled on it accidentally once so we took off the top and poured rice all over it, let it sit for a few days & it was good as new! Sound quality is great and it’ll last you through anything. Highly recommend.

This receiver would be better, if it had a phonograph input/built in pre-amp, and A/C inputs, but it's OK for the price

We were recommended this piece of equipment by an installer of sound systems and trusted his research! We have been very happy with the quality of this receiver. The big games are so much more enjoyable adding another dimension to watching and hearing the action . Love listening to the radio also!

This amp has inputs and outputs for the equipment I use. RCA jacks can be hard to find these days. Goes great with my set up.
