Replaced an older NAD receiver with this, driving a set of Advent 5002 speakers and I am very pleased with the performance. Definitely not a powerhouse but will play loud enough in a medium sized (12x25) living room. No fancy features included but not something I needed anyway as it's used for music & TV audio only.

I would have gave 4 stars but the bass and treble adjustments were weak and it had no eq. options. Also there was no input for phono with a signal boost . I had to buy a small mixer to boost the signal for my turn table.

I purchased the receiver to replace my TV sound system, price was right, quality is good, functions are easy to operate. The only negative I have about it is. It has no digital sound inputs. After careful shopping I found an adapter and all is good.. It has great sound and does the job.

If you're looking for a quality receiver, that is easy to install, hassle free and very simple to use, this is the one. Its not high end, but it gets the job done. I've had it for about a month now, and use it in my living room for music and movies. No issues and works great!

Good power. Good sound. Remote is handy. No phono jack so you'll need a preamp for a turntable, if you'll be using it for that. When you're at this pricepoint you're not looking for perfect. This is better than good sound depending on your speaker system. My opinion, it's a good buy.

Inexpensive but has 6 inputs and plenty of power. Wish it had a dedicated phono input but does not really need one as there are plenty of inputs to choose from. The remote is busy with very few of the buttons used unless you have the companion CD or DVD players. All in all a very good unit.

This is a no frills stereo receiver that is easy to operate and easy to install speaker wires to. you can preset stations and install other components together with this unit. The sound is great also. very satisfied with this receiver.

This unit is easy to set up and simple to use. It is a home entertainment center with audio and video capabilities. The sound is great. My CD Player and Tape Deck worked well with the unit; however, this unit is not designed to work with a phonograph (turntable) and I should have been more observant before I bought it. I believed I could make the Line 1 work for the phonograph, but NO it won't. My mistake! Sony did not label it for such use BUT beware, If you want to use a turntable with this unit it is not going to work for you for that particular purpose.

Though small, this Sony receiver packs a lot of punch. In the age of theater sound, it was pleasant to find a plain audio receiver that has the same plugins for older systems. Thus far this one has worked out well for me.

This Sony STRDH130 is a simple 2- channel receiver. It looks great, the controls feel substantial, and it produces great sound while being easy to use. I can't imagine a better receiver in this price range.

I just wanted something to replace the old receiver I had out in the shop so was looking for a Bargain. I found this Sony open box special listed online available in my local store. They had rated it as "Excellent condition". Now to me to get a excellent condition report the item is in nearly new condition with all the accessories. The Receiver was in Nearly new condition but the antenas where missing which is why this open box special looses a star. Best Buy did take a bit more off for this when I called them on it but found out replacement antena where really expensive, Fortunately I was able to make a FM antenna with min fuss. The receiver itself Works Great !

This receiver was just what i was looking for. It's got plenty of features. Also allows you to interface with your iPad or iPhone with the proper cable. No Bluetooth but for the price it is s great buy

Sony amps have never let me down! This receiver works great to power my speakers that are used for my turntables. Plenty of continuous power to crank up the music! A great buy for a fantastic price!

Needed to replace a basic receiver on my stero set. This was perfect. Sony quality at a very reasonable price. Other components were easy to hookup as well as speakers. Great value. For my situation.

Bought this because I needed a reliable name-brand receiver / amp at a good price. I am happy with my purchase. It sounds great, easy to operate and has all the features I need.

Picked this up for a patio player, hooked my satellite receiver to it and solid tunes through Bose outdoor speakers. Clear clean audio output and for the price a bargain.

I am reluctant to quit my infinity speakers, so needed a reciver to make the old equipment work again. This is easy to use and read, and works fine. Sound is good, and has no extraneous noise.

Receiver has done everything I wanted and needed! I have a wireless speaker that I have an aux cord plugged into the receiver and the sound quality is great. I wish the remote wasnt so confusing though. In order to type in a station you want to listen to, you have to hit D. Tuning first, and then type the numbers. The zero button is also confusing. The receiver itself does not have preset numbers on it, but has a plus and minus button. Those are not things that affect the quality of it and I would recommend this to anyone.

I brought this Audio Receiver as a Christmas present to update my Stereo. The Receiver I has good simple instructions and excellent sound output. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Good receiver. Simply wish that it had one or two digital inputs for SAT and Bluray audio. Had to purchase converters. Sounds great with my Yamaha ceiling speakers.
