bought for a job recently and works just as expected - client happy.

Does everything I want it to do and very simply. I have DVD, CD player and Cable going into my sound system. Only issue is it doesn't have a HDMI jack needed for direct connection to my smart TV, so it can't put Netflix or Amazon Prime movies or shows into my sound system.

Purchased this along with shelf speakers. No complaints here. Good for small or medium size room.

Item comes with AM and FM antenna. Surprised it did not have a left/right balance. Would buy again/

This is a great basic receiver for picking up FM channels I could not receive otherwise.

So far the unit has performed great. No problems at all and i am happy with it so far.

This is perfect for me. It does everything I expected it would do and I am very pleased with it.

These days everything electronic involves gadgets. This receiver is simple. A volume knob, A source selector switch, simple two channel stereo. And it sounds good. Just don't look at the remote. There is enough buttons on that thing to launch a space shuttle.

the product did not have a phono input. My primary use was for an old turntable. I returned the unit. I was told at best by a pre-amp would fix the issue. I bought the suggested pre-amp. However, the combination of pre-amp and the sonny receiver caused distortion. I returned both but at this time the return policy was expired. I was given store credit instead. I do not know what to do with it. I hope I find a use for it sometime in future. Very unhappy about it.

needed to replace a unit that had been running continuously for the last 7+ years driving our office overhead music and music on hold. I trust the brand and the price was right along with the jacks we needed for our connections.

Not bad for the price and works better than I thought..

As with all receiver/amplifiers, installation requires careful and exact connection of speaker wires; I did not achieve this. Also, the included antenna wires are inadequate in our neighborhood. Otherwise, no problem

Had a similar item but the power button went out and it could no longer be used.

no it doesn't have usb or any new features but it will get the old stereo equipment to work

This is not for a complex home theater setup. But for the basics of 2 channel music, or for a small non-surround video system, it works quite well. Built like a tank, sounds very good for the price, and the remote is very functional and convenient.

Great tuner at a great price. Only downside is a pre-amp is needed to use with a turntable.

I have long needed an AM-FM receiver for my office to listen to music, news, etc., while working at my desk. This Sony unit fits the bill perfectly when hooked up to my aging Dynaco A-25 speakers. On top of the performance the $100 price was hard to beat.
