However when I plug in my walkman the volume really cranks. I think I should've bought a more powerful receiver. It's still a good receiver

I use B setting to provide sound to porch speakers at night. It was easy to set up, it found all my radio stations. It is a great receiver for people that do not require the "perfect" sound and do not need more than two speakers to enjoy the music. If you need to hear perfect sound and drive more than 2 speakers at a time, this is not the receiver for you.

We listen to the stereo while spending time outside and working in the garage, year round. Normally, we are unable to pick up AM and FM stations. Not with this receiver. I waited for the receiver to go on sale and to my surprise, I was able to purchase it somewhat under my budget during a sale before black Friday.
