Great for outside speaker system as Surround Sound systems are so chopped up to different speakers you only hear the sound of a particular instrument from any one speaker and don't hear the entire musical medley.

The instructions don't say 100w/channel. A little confusing but it is a very good receiver/amplifier. Somewhat "Old School" but sounds good.

Replaced an old Sansui 2000 with this. Really enjoy the remote the old one lacked. Only drawback found is in the low frequency range. It does have a much better tuner and more channel separation.

Bought this receiver for my Man Cave . This " Oldschool " 2 channel has plenty of power to drive 4 large speakers. The price can't be beat. Very happy with this product! Would definitely buy it again.

I bought this In September 2016, The receiver quite working in October of 2017. My last receiver lasted aprx 8 years.

I saw other units but did not recognize the brands. This is to drive built in ceiling speakers. I didn't need anything other than the 2 channels. It works as advertised.

I bought this as an open box item. It didn't come with an AM or FM and antenna. But, I went back to Best Buy and they hooked me up at no cost! Now... time will just tell how this hold up in a milk house!

Stereo receivers are hard to find. This one is made well and works well. My old one couldn't tune into many radio stations. This one tunes to MANY. I waited for a sale so the cost was very reasonable.

Sony never disappoints and this receiver is no exception. Plenty of power to drive my Polk Audio 5 1/4" speakers. The sound is clean, even at high volumes. And for the price: unbeatable!

This receiver is jam packed with features all available through it's fully comprehensive remote which can also work with other Sony components....I am well pleased with this product

sony 2 channel receiver, works very good , the only dislike is the volume knob , you have to turn quite a bit for large increase or decrease of sound , other tha that its perfect for me

The sound quality is fantastic for the price, I wish it had a subwoofer output but no big deal the bass it provides throught my bookshelf speakers is still excellent

I had the older version of this model for over 10 years in my office working 8 hrs a day 5 days a week. This one looks almost the same and so far it is working great.
