It’s an okay receiver, not the best sound, but $100 gets it an okay rating from me. It’s best quality is ease of use, much better than my Yamaha, but my Yamaha has great sound. I only recommend it to those who don’t need anything fancy.

Bought this for our outside entertainment center. Found it easy to setup and use with the tv. Great price.

Tuner works well to run house speakers for basic music enjoyment. Discovering how to select some features took a little getting used to, but eventually figured it out. Sound is very good!

I bought this receiver to run all of my old stereo components. It is simple and easy to use and does the trick. It's nice to hear music out of something other than a computer or a phone.

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to hook up a CD player and also a cassette player in order to enjoy my old recorded music. Works perfectly and te price cannot be beat.

This is the second one which we bought for our patio inside a cabinet as part of an outdoor entertainment system. The first one lasted almost 5 years, which in Phoenix, AZ was hard to believe. Unfortunately, it outlived the extended warranty. For a cheap, 2 channel receiver this can't be beat. It also had enough power for good sound, but because we have neighbors which we are on good terms with, we rarely ever crank it up.

Good basic receiver for the price. Needed to run to outdoor speakers and did the job just fine. Only two channels, so likely not good for TV surround sound, but otherwise fine.

Glad we got it. It sounds great and it has all of the features of our old amp. The only thing that would be nice is a plug in for our CD player

I needed a stereo amplifier through which I could play my four track tape recorder - a beautiful TEAC 3340s. I got much more than I expected with this receiver. Not only does it produce beautiful sound, all the additional features are very useful. I might also add it doesn't take up a great deal of space and looks terrific. The back panel is very accommodating for extra equipment – inputs.

Tough to find a 2-zone receiver suitable for outdoor music without lots of bells and whistles and a hefty price tag. This is just what I was looking for at a great price.

I bought this receiver mainly because my previous receiver was also a Sony and was almost same features. It gave me many years of service, many hours. Price was good too.

I am using this for a conference room set up. all devices lead to a projector and the projector sends the audio to this receiver. I am very happy with the setup.

Solid 100 W / channel power ideal for our hard- wired 2 speaker setup. Preamp inputs, AM/FM receiver, remote control for volume, audio settings and mode. BUT, the remote only works with Sony TV so you need 2 remotes if you use this with another brand TV. doesnt have optical digital input and only 4 hard-wired outputs so not compatible with 5.1 surround sound.

Fits wonderfully in my cabinet and is simple to operate, I have several systems in my home and this amp/ receiver is in one of our bedrooms.Good sound quality..

Using this on my outside entertainment area of my patio, provides an excellent sound whether we are relaxing watching tv or playing music having a good time!

Needed a simple receiver for my 70 yr old mother, filled that need perfectly! Simple to program, no confusion for her. Drives her bookshelf speakers ideally.

My old tuner/receiver finally died and I needed a replacement, nothing fancy. I was able to use my CD player and speakers with this. Price was good also.

This receiver works very well. The Sony brand is very good. The quality of the songs is excellent and clear. The cd player and cassette work well.
