I compose and write music and I bought this about a year ago and use it constantly I must say it performs flawlessly for me I have it hooked up to my midi keyboard to record my music then transfer it to an mp4 player it has all the necessary formats like MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC. The battery life is unbelievable and when it needs charging I just hook it up to the computer and give it a quick charge. You may think that the price is high but not for the quality it delivers

I purchased this recorder primarily for recording speakers at conferences and or audio recordings. It literally is one touch recording, then plug into your USB port, access the files as if it was an SD Card / Flash drive. Rename them and copy/paste to your computer. They are already in MP3 format. Converts to iTunes software easily. Sound quality is great and battery life seems like forever! I couldn't be happier with my purchase! Highly recommend!

I use this voice recorder for taking notes and lectures for school and it works excellent! Records very well for playback. Comes with a sound organizer for use on your computer to exchange files. Plays MP3's and you can burn and import CD's and send audio files by mail. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the power on/off switch, it feels flimsy, should be more like a power button. Great voice recorder for what I needed it for.

I love this little recorder: it' s tiny and light as a feather, with excellent sound quality, and probably really easy to use for the technologically adept (which I'm not) ... but still the instructions in the manual are easy enough to follow. It should probably be mentioned that I ended by returning the recorder purchased from BestBuy and buying the item from another source because Best Buy just couldn't seem to get the price right and they were trying to sell me a microcard that was NOT recommended, etc. There was even a lot of drama over the return when BestBuy refused to credit me the full amount of the purchase price even when I tried to explain to the rep 'helping' me WHY the amount in question was owed to me ... so I had to wait till the statement came out to request a refund check for the CREDIT amount showing on my account ... which they promptly sent. It's a concern to me also that Best Buy doesn't always seem to have the peripheral equipment recommended for an item, but they try to sell you any old thing anyhow.

This device was bought for my husband while he was in college. He uses it everday, and the only issue he has with it is that it works so well that you can hear him writing and erasing on his paperwork.

Excellent for my daughter in college to record classes and review and save on computer.
