I had a Sanyo PLV-Z700 and was afraid it wouldn't be worth the money to upgrade to this projector. I was wrong, what a difference! First movie I tried was Avatar. The colors and picture quality are unbelievable. Upgrading to this projector was like going from VHS to Blu-ray. Highly recommended. The preference setting right out of the box is perfect for my set up.

This projector is fantastic. It is bright. We have had no issues with watching 3D movies. A very good buy!

I spent months reviewing, auditioning and researching projectors for our theater. I couldn't justify 10K for a decent entry point into the 4K market, but this 1080P projector delivers such an immersive visual experience right out of the box that the 8K premium for a UHD projector would seem like a complete waste of money. There is a new version of this projector coming out in May 2016. It's supposed to rewrite the playbook on 1080P projectors from Sony. That said, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Everyone that comes over to view it can not believe the contrast, color reproduction, depth and sharpness of the picture. My only advice for those looking at projectors, make sure you have the throw distance required, and mount the projector parallel with the ceiling using the built in lens shift to dial it in. This projector is significantly better than the Epson competitor.

I had a sony projector for 10 years and my family stopped watching it because it wasn't high definition. I purchased this HD projector and they love it, we are all watching it again. The picture is so clear and crisp. Sony, how can you go wrong.

This projector is absolutely amazing. Perfect for football and movies. Blows my 70in led TV out of the water in picture quality and every other aspect.

Seemed like a nice projector but had to change plans with my project. It does do 3d if that’s important but does not have a lot of automated features like aspect ratio memory. It was on clearance for less than what bestbuy paid for it but decided when I move to projector I’ll likely go full on 4K.

Would highly recommend. Went back and got a bigger screen because picture quality was great and could handle it.

The only thing i have to say about this projector is that its the best one out there, the picture quality its outstanding !!! Of course, what do you expect,its sony !!! Thank u very much sony !!!

The projector gives a great picture and has all the extras that are required. I purchased it for a good price.

The picture quality is excellent. We only used it without the screen so far (it just arrived). Easy to connect to and adjustments were minimal to get us going.

I love it. Perfect for living room or movie room super bright and super quiet. Most of my friends thinks it's a 4k projector I have it matched with a black diamond screen zero edge 92"

This projector is Sony's newest and really can't be beat in this price category.

Awesome quality, compatible with PS3 3D glasses. I have Sony 55 inch XBR 3D TV, PS3 monitor, and bought this HD projector. They are all compatible with my PS3 3D glasses and no need to get new glasses. The colors are vibrant, awesome black levels, full 1080p HD quality, the 3D is amazing. With a 150 inch projector screen and 3D, it is like I have a mini IMAX theater in my living room.
