This TV changed the way I expect games and movies to look now! It’s the perfect TV for gaming as it comes with the required 120fps PS5 operates smoothly with. It also comes with 3D audio optimized for 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound, perfect for capturing all those small details. This game has definitely revolutionized color and textures for me all around, if a game looks bad, simply turn up the in-game brightness and that should about fix all your problems. There is nothing wrong I can say about this TV at all. If there was a way to add subtitles while movies transfer through Airplay that is about all I have to complain about. Thank you Sony.

Really great tv. I was skeptical because I’ve only bought lg and Samsung tvs. I bought this tv to use as a monitor for gaming on my pc. I fell in love with the screen the colors are fantastic I replaced it with the lg C2 42 inch and it blows that out of the water. I constantly was messing around with the picture settings on the lg and with the a90k I just tweaked a couple of settings and didn’t change it again. Reality creation the the Sony is also a game changer switch games looked so much better and I genuinely feel like I can’t go back to playing my switch on any other screen. It isn’t without its flaws sdr tv watching is a bit too dim for my liking. Hdr gaming didn’t wow me it looked good but I’ve seen better but these are on tvs twice to three times the size which can push out way more nits of brightness to really get those highlights not much brightness you can push with a 42 inch screen and it doesn’t have as many gaming features as the competition along with slightly higher input lag, and of course the price. Having said that for me this tv really ended up being worth it and I find myself wanting to replace living room oled with a Sony oled. This tv made me understand why some people are so passionate about Sony tv over lg and Samsung it really is a small cut above the rest. It is my favorite looking screen in the house when it comes to color reproduction the picture is just nice and warm. Can’t see anyone not liking this screen.

Simply beautiful image! Ordered this unit two weeks ago and set it up a few days later. I desired a 42 inch 4K OLED tv to replace my 2011 Sony KDL-40EX720 which was working very well. My reason for replacing it? - new technology (4K, UHD, OLED, and, THE SAME INPUT capabilities I had with my KDL-40EV720). I needed it to accept my DirecTV, Panasonic 4k player, Apple TV, SoundBar with ARC and Optical inputs and, yes, my VCR. (it's hardly used but I use it nonethelessat times. I had to purchase a 3.5mm male connector with the three female RCA inputs to connect it ($5 at Amazon). What do I not like?-the ABSENCE of a HEADSET jack! When needed I connect my Sony MDR-7506 headset which does not have Bluetooth capabilities. Other than that: two thumbs up and, yes, it is expensive for its size. I have had excellent results with all my previous Sony TV's. This unit has a great OLED picture quality, sound (though I use a soundbar) and options for TV mode or the Google TV interface. I do not need the latter, only the TV only option. Enjoy your purchase.

Wow, this TV is amazing. Have a 65 s95b QD-OLED as my main and this is for gaming primarily and it is amazing. Going toe to toe with Samsungs QD-OLED, accuracy is on point and lag low enough to not notice compared to what LG offers. I used the Sony a90j for reference in calibration/set up and I’m impressed. For gaming or a small space tv, nothing better when it comes to Sonys processing and a great successor to the a90j. Pictures don’t do it any kind of justice.

Simply put....stunning. Bought it yesterday afternoon and by evening had her in my mancave watching Rampage in Ultra High Definition. The setup is incredibly simple and intuitive, you'll have no problems with it. This TV will even automatically download your streaming apps. Just a little tweaking and you'll have an amazing picture. I am VERY happy with this purchase. There ain't nothin' like a Sony!

This is a great (relatively) small OLED TV or high end gaming monitor. I think the screen is exactly the right size for a small living room. The picture quality is excellent, sound is fine, easy to set up, frequent updates, etc. Highly recommended.

It is an excellent TV. I am currently using the 48" one. I recommend it. 4k has excellent sound. Very good

I have never had a tv this good coming from a samsung previous owner i was looking something to game with my ps5 and watch movies this delivers everything graphics color very satisfied with this purchased got it a few years ago and had to comeback for the review i highly recommen this tv

I don’t know if I’ll ever use an LED TV or any other brand TV for that matter EVER again. This little bad boy was perfect for my smaller space. I use it for content creation, movie consumption, & some gaming. The picture is FLAWLESS, colors are true to life, the on-board sound was brilliant for a smaller form factor, & I prefer Sony’s motion processing over Samsung’s & LG’s. originally had the LG C2, because of pricing but decided to give this expensive yet worthwhile little set a try & I’m glad I did. ONLY drawback is Sony needs to show the others up & give us HDMI 2.1 on all the ports, not just 2.

Great TV! My first OLED and it outperforms any other TV I’ve ever had. Not rated 5-stars because of the condition the TV was in on arrival. I purchased an Open Box rated as being “Excellent Condition”, but it was far from that! The box was in rough shape. When I opened it there were broken pieces of styrofoam inside, on both sides. There was no styrofoam over the top of the TV to protect it. The top of the screen was *separated* from the rear shell! I had to snap it back together! It must have taken quite a jolt to do that, likely on the sides where to styrofoam was broke up. There’s a noticeable scratch or gouge in the top middle of the TV frame. The TV had No Manual and no Warrant card, was supposed to have both (says so in ‘What’s in the box?). So I would say Fair Condition *at best*! Best Buy, you need to sell open box honestly. At least pack it properly and include the documentation. If the set was damaged by Federal Express (and I wouldn’t doubt it), you should have offered an immediate replacement. Speaking with Best Buy about the problems wasn’t helpful. They said to return it, but gave me no replacement option. Then and now an excellent condition open box for the same TV set is over $300 more which is excessive for open box. Buyer beware!

This excellent television exceeds our expectations in every way, and the ease of any adjustment using Sony's common-sense menus beats the pants off of our old set. I have come to expect nothing less from Sony products over the years. We received quite extraordinary assistance by Mr. Scott Madia, who demonstrated true expert level knowledge of all of products on the floor - and there were a lot of them from various manufacturers. His honesty, ability to listen, experience and insight were all accessible to us. Scott is the reason we chose to buy from Best Buy. He is one salesman that we trust. Thank you, Scott.

Excellent television! Sony has really made a comeback after having left the CRT trinitrons back in the day. These new OLED models along with their custom upscaling and video processing unit is superb. It does a wonderful job making even SD content nice and clear. Mind you it's not a miracle worker. But the difference is there. It stands out best while viewing 720p and 1080p broadcasts or streaming video, where it upscaled to 4k on the fly and does a great job. It even allows you to adjust the level of upscaling to your taste! Plus the ability to find tune how the video motion (soap opera effect) is implemented. Which is great. As I prefer not to see the soap opera effect myself, and minimize any blurriness from fast motion scenes. This TV can do it both! And let's not forget the blacks! The blacks are the blacks, not LCD washed out blacks. No, if your scene switches to a black inserted transition frame you will swear the TV turned off! There is absolutely no stray illumination from anywhere. It's just beautiful! Highly recommend you check out the configuration guide on ratings.com for the a90k to get you started on the best all around settings for this TV. I only wish I had bought the 48" now that I have my 42" and see that it would have indeed fit just fine. Oh well. Hopefully things work out and I can get that later and use this one as my desktop PC monitor like others I've seen online. Don't hesitate on this one, you won't be disappointed!

I love my 42 inch Sony Bravia. Great tv in smaller package. Great picture and sound. Love that I can Aitplay with my iPhone and Bluetooth my headphones. Geek Squad setup was great. I was up and running in no time.

This TV is a few hundred over priced, therefore only 4 star rating. Its at least $300 too much in my opinion. However, for the right price, its awesome. There is a lot that I can say about this set but the professional reviews have already said enough. Its a great TV even though its over 3 yrs old. Love gaming and watching movies on this. Make sure you have the desktop space.

As my husband and i always say, you can never go wrong with a Sony TV. We have been enjoying this tv, easy set up and beautiful picture and sound.

Excellent picture quality combined with an easy to use interface. The remote has much fewer buttons than the previous generation remotes Sony had used so it will be a challenge to use for many; it sure was for me. I gave up on it and obtained a Sony remote from 4 years ago that all the buttons one needed and was a piece of cake to use. Brightness was excellent in this state-of-the art OLED.

This TV is heavy! But besides that, sound and image are crisp and clean.

Unbelievable picture quality. TV is mounted at our boat dock and under roof. Even with all the surrounding sunlight, picture is bright and clear. Several of our boating neighbors surround us whenever we have sports tuned in.

The Sony Bravia is a great television. This is our second one and the first one lasted for almost ten years with no major difficulties. This one is a bit smaller but the picture and sound quality are both amazing. The picture is really bright and clear, It's easy to use with the harmony remote. The difference in size seems to have no negative effect,
