For months, I was stuck trying to figure out the right display to fit into my multi-screen command center. I spent way too long looking at panels that just didn't make sense—either they lacked the right features, sacrificed processing power because of their size, or felt like a massive compromise. I just wanted something smaller that could hold its own alongside high-end displays without feeling like a step backward. Then I stumbled across the Sony A90K OLED. It’s been out for a while now, but Sony still keeps it in the lineup as their flagship compact OLED—and for good reason. Tracking one down felt like striking absolute gold. If you’re like me and watch a ton of fast-paced live sports—especially tennis—this TV is easily the best small-format display on the market. * Instant Response & Motion: Sony’s motion processing paired with OLED’s instant pixel response time is unmatched. When you’re tracking a 120+ mph serve zipping across the court, there’s no blur, trailing, or weird artifacting. The action stays pin-sharp. * Excellent Reflection Handling: Even though it’s an OLED, the panel treatment does a fantastic job of absorbing indirect light and managing screen reflections, keeping glare from distracting you during daytime sports streams or desktop work. * OLED Contrast: The infinite contrast and perfect black levels give every frame incredible depth and realism, making standard broadcast feeds look punchy and vibrant. * Built-in NextGen Digital Tuner: Having a native ATSC 3.0 tuner built right in is a massive win. It lets you pull in clean, uncompressed local NextGen digital broadcasts straight through the TV without cluttering your desk with extra boxes. Even though this model isn't the newest release on paper, the software experience feels brand new. Sony has kept the Google TV OS updated, so navigating the interface is snappy, fast, and completely free of lag or outdated menus. Crucially, Sony’s firmware support brought their flagship Studio Calibrated modes to this set: * Netflix Calibrated Mode * Prime Video Calibrated Mode * Sony Pictures Core (formerly BRAVIA CORE) Calibrated Mode These modes automatically adjust the TV’s color, contrast, and color temperature to match creator intent right inside the native apps, giving you studio-grade accuracy without needing to spend hours manually dialing in. To be completely fair, this is not the brightest TV in the world. If you’re placing it in a room flooded with direct, unshaded sunlight or you only care about maximum HDR peak nits, you might want to look at something else. But for close-up viewing, desktop environments, or dedicated setup spaces, it more than makes up for the lack of raw brightness with sheer precision and shadow detail. If you’re looking for a top-tier smaller display, you simply aren't going to find anything better right now. Between the lightning-fast updated OS, built-in studio calibration modes, excellent glare control, and industry-leading motion, the Sony A90K remains the undisputed king of small OLEDs.

Best OLED i’ve owned without a doubt. For a while, I was debating to get either an LG C3 or the Sony A90K and after seeing a side by side comparison, the A90K took the icing on the cake by a mile. First off let’s talk about gaming, Gaming on this A90K is phenomenonal, the picture, the deep blacks, the amount of details i was able to pick up, the realistic skin tones & colors blew me away. Also, to those who own a PS5, the A90K automatically comes with a Auto HDR Tone Mapping for the PS5 to calibrate to get the best HDR experience. When it comes to gaming features however, the LG takes that by a mile cause it has all the necessites you need. The A90K has VRR, 120hz support, HDMI 2.1 so you can get that buttery 120fps on some compatible games. If you don’t do PC Gaming and you’re someone like me that plays on Console (PS5), definitely get the A90K it will blow your mind. As for Sound Quality, this thing is honestly insane for what it is. Obviously you get what you pay for but the Speakers on this TV is mad loud and has a very good bass to it. As for movies/shows this is what the Sony OLEDs really shines, they look incredible. The amount of details, just everything, looks too good. I can go on & on about this but i don’t wanna make this review too long. If you guys are on the hunt for an OLED, look no further and get the A90K. If you don’t mind to spend a little more since you’re paying for a more premium OLED, do it you won’t regret your purchase

I relate my journey finding the best 48" OLED to take over my computer: After having owned both the LG C1 and C2 48" I have to say this is hands down superior in nearly every category. I will proceed to list: 1) HDR - After having tried several game titles and movies, the HDR on the C2/C1 look bloomy and often hide details. I was able to pick up on details I was never able to with the Sony, it was kind of disappointing to see how much detail was being lost due to overblown HDR 2) Though I can't confirm, this TV feels brighter than the C1 and C2, there's also better uniformity across the panel 3) Pixel Processing and upscaling is insanely superior on the Sony, it reveals far more minute details of every scene 4) Motion handling - This one the Sony wins hands down. Motion just feels superior, even when you enable the soap opera mode, it does it in a better way than the LG 5) OS: It pains to say this but as much as I love WebOS, I really enjoy the way the menus are laid out on Android TV. You don't need that fancy 'game mode' thing the LG has. The Sony also has every setting and also far more accessible. 6) Monitor Specific: The Sony has less aggressive ABL out of the box meaning you will not get dark screens as aggressive while using the computer which can be frustrating at times. Meanwhile, the only things I consider superior on the C2: 1) GSync: PC gaming does unquestionably feel more responsive on the C2, but the difference is not night and day. I can still fully enjoy my games despite not having the ultimate 'G-Sync' 2) HDMI ports: Not sure why Sony couldn't make every port 2.1 Sony just stepped up their game this year. This TV/Monitor is superior to the C2. I don't think having 2 better categories can make up for all the other greatness that makes this TV the ultimate choice for your setup. Go with the Sony, I personally barely use G-Sync and I bet a lot of us today don't.

An excellent 48" WOLED TV overall, although it is out-performed by the newer LG C3. It offers a decent viewing angle and needed little adjustment to dial in a great picture for our use in a darkened room, mostly streaming movies and TV programming with the occasional Blu-ray Disc movie as well. Ours was an Open Box Excellent (Geek Squad Verified) purchase and was shipped to us from a Best Buy store. Unboxing, I noted that the power cord was allowed to get between the bottom of the display and the Styrofoam insert, slightly scuffing the lower bezel. Also, the metal base for the stand was not in the pocket that was designed to hold it, and was instead sitting directly against the carton interior in a bottom corner, and it is dented on the rear edge, most likely because it was unsecured in shipping. The stand had never been unwrapped or assembled to the TV, but it was apparently a store display unit, as part of the wall mount was still attached and there was residual dust on the rear of the set. Three screws were loose in the carton, presumably from the wall mount. Finally, there were many finger and palm prints on the display, likely from mishandling when re-boxing. Overall, a big fail for the Geek Squad. It was most likely in Excellent Condition until they had their way with it, but it should have been graded: Good (Works like new. Restored to factory settings. May have minor scratches or dents...) rather than: Excellent (Works and looks like new. Restored to factory settings…). In the future, I’ll avoid Best Buy Open Box TVs…

This Tv has amazing picture color, sharpness, brightness, contrast & details. I got an amazing price deal for an open box!!

The 48" OLED Bravia Sony is exceptional in picture quality, sound, and ease of use. The Geek Squad guys made the installation so easy and adjusted the picture to my perfection. Can't say enough about this TV. Fits our small area for any TV due to the 3" depth across the back of the TV. And the platform stand rather than the weird feet that regular 4Ks come with. Love it!!!!!!

I originally went to Best Buy for an Oled Lg TV because it was kinda affordable, but after chatting in person with a Sony Rep and this guy really knew his stuff when it came to Sony Tv's and i was super impressed and he changed my mind quick. Not to mention both TV's were basically the same price so i went with this one and i am glad i made the correct choice never owned a Sony Oled Tv but always wanted one. The picture and sound that come out from this Sony Bravia is super clear - oh not to mention i am a gamer as well OMG takes the gaming Experience to the next level 4k 120 LORD... its like i am actually in the game. So to the Sony Rep sorry i am forgot your name but THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Sales person told me this tv has one of the best picture sharpness and high color contrast of any other brand. Makes one feel good about your purchase.

Love the picture and ease of use. Have paired the earphones via Bluetooth and it was seamless. Highly recommend this Sony TV

Great TV with excellent color & clarity. Size is perfect over our fireplace. We also enjoy the soundbar.

This TV is installed in my "Mom Den." Now I can watch the shows I want, when I want, without someone changing the channels. The size is just right and the picture quality is excellent. I am somewhat hard of hearing, even with aids, so I can't accurately judge the sound quality, but for me it sounds okay. *I'm not listed as the buyer; he's the primary random channel changer and authorized this purchase.*

This tv has completely changed our watching experience and all of our favorite movies! It is stunning!

Got this tv right before football season started and I feel like I'm on the field in the middle of the action. Color and clarity is awesome, sound is pretty good too although I'm sure a sound bar would take it to the next level...will wait for black Friday on that purchase.

It is like you're there in person, but your eyes see better than normal. You thought it couldnt get better than 4k LED, but realize you were wrong. Perfect movement capture. Beautiful.

A much better picture quality than expected in a Bright room. Watching movies on Blu-ray and Netflix is amazing. It even improved my sound quality going to my home theatre receiver.

I initailly purchased rhe 55” A80L, which was a great tv, but much too big for my bedroom. I decided to drop down to the 48” A90K - and I am obssessed. I watch a lot of youtube screensaver videos to relax and fall asleep and the sound and video output on this Bravia is amazing. Yes, its expensice, only $100 less than the 80L, but the vibrance screen is worth it. The only time I notice low brightness is on the Sony home screen. Its pretty dim, IMO. But elsewhere - the tv is amazing.

Tv is a little pricey but if you want quality this is the Tv. We are very happy with it and the picture is amazing. We had a LG tv that was 15 yesrs old.
