Easiest TV to setup ever. Plug it in and push a few buttons on the remote and you are there. Picture quality is very good, plenty bright and colors are accurate. The Smart TV section comes with many subscriptions to choose from of all the headlining services, netflix, hulu, amazon, ect... I hooked it up to a digital antenna and the picture is amazing. Glad I cut the cable! Great TV.

Watching movies has never seemed so real. The quality of the programs on various sites and TV providers you can really see the difference.

This is our first 4K television and weren't sure if we could really tell the difference from our older TV. Well, the answer is "absolutely yes." Not only is it an amazing picture, but the smart portion of the TV is great. We still haven't even hooked it up to our satellite, as we've been watching Netflix and other options. So happy we decided on this one.

great picture, easy set-up,however, I haven't been able to get the Directv remote or the Sony remote to communicate flawlessly. I can change the channel w the Directv remote but not control the sound, vise-versa with the Sony remote. not a deal breaker as I am considering dropping cable/sat or subscribing to Comcast (another headache)

Was going back and forth between a larger screen on a cheaper model because size is everything, (right?) but in the end the picture quality of this fine specimen won out!!!

This TV by far is the best I've ever owned. Excellent picture. Will probably buy a second one for the bedroom.

Picture is still very good when you are watching from the sides, no bad seat when there is a group watching.

This thing looks as good as almost any TV out there, but with Android tv with an unlimited amount of content.

I was shopping around after my older Samsung broke.(my doing, not the tv) I originally was looking for a 55" 4k tv with HDR(high dynamic range) but when the price for the 49" was presented to me, it caught my eye. This TV was very easy to set up and basically was plug and play. When I went through the initial setup, the tv walked me right through the entire process. You even have the ability for adding your Gmail account to access even more right from your TV rather than having to use your phone or tablet. Speaking of devices, I love how you can mirror what you're doing on your tablet or phone right to the tv. This makes a photo showing or a funny video on YouTube easy to show others in the room. The picture is crisp and the sound quality was fantastic, even for a flat panel tv. I didn't have to tweak it at all. The controller leaves a bit to be desired, especially for someone with larger fingers and it's not back-lit, but the dedicated Netflix button is a nice touch. All in all, this is a great TV and I would highly recommend it.

This is my 1st 4k TV. I have another flat screen which I loved but you can tell the difference with the 4k in the picture quality. With the sale price on this one, you can't go wrong. I did look at the LG but too many reviews where buyers returned for a Sony and therefore decided on this one.

SONY, as usual, means quality. The Bravia gives you an excellent picture and very stable stand if you choose not to wall mount. I just wish the audio matched the visual. But then, how would they sell you a sound bar, right? I solved that problem with a $99 pair of BOSE Companion speakers that plugged into the headphone jack on the side of the TV and ~ voila! ~ beautiful sound for about 1/3 of the price of a comparable SONY sound bar. They even work with the remote as does a Logitech simple keyboard made for Android televisions (the 400K is an inexpensive choice). What finally got me to splurge on the Bravia, however, is the inclusion of Crunchyroll as an app. Unless you're an anime fan, like I am, you'll have no idea why this matters, but having access to the app (which can link to VRV.co) was a prime reason for me to choose Bravia, which is an Android television. My only complaint (right now) is that the web browser is Opera (yuck), but I'm investigating and I'm sure I'll figure something out. For now, though, I seem to be getting pretty much everything I'm looking for by lining up what I want via my desktop, then watching on set. The price is high compared to other manufacturers, but SONY always is. It's also less than more sophisticated units, so it's a compromise I'm willing to make. In short, I'm a happy consumer.

Our new Sony 49 class 4K smart TV is nicer than our best expectations. The color and picture quality is so much more vivid and sharp than even our best HD TV. Sport events are like being in the best seats of the venue. The grand kids cartoons and nature shows colors are very bright.

I am feeling a bit lost without a full qwerty keyboard and pulling my phone out is unnecessary. Internet on my tv has become useless. I am pretty much happy with the picture quality. The 4k is beautiful and works seemlessly with my ps4. Don't forget to turn on enhanced mode because the 4k is not turned on until you do. Wish someone told me that from the get go.

Great TV for the size and price. The smart applications work well too. At first the picture didn't look so great hooked up to a AT&T Uverse box, but after a few picture adjustments it looks good now. Just be sure to get a sound system with it because the speakers aren't that great.
